This is a great Strat Copy from the late 60's or early 70's. This guitar has the weight of a Les Paul built into a strat with all the trimmings you'd find on a real strat. The neck is a fatter C-shaped neck made of what looks like ribbon mahogany but I'm not sure. The body has a natural finish with a nitro cellulose clearcoat. Kay logo is only found on the truss rod cover.

The sound is a Strat with Bull balls. Great tonal quality due to the weight of the guitar and fat single coil pick ups with BIG magnets on them for BIG sound! Guitar sounds great but excels with distortion!!!
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action is excellent but I had to straighten the neck and adjust the intonation when I got it. Very comfortable guitar with literally no finish flaws.

I could knock down a building with this guitar.

This is a very rare Kay that was probably a limited run right around the time the Kay factory burned down. Very rare indeed.
