Brand new, made in China but don't let that bother you. The Chinese have vastly improvesd the quality they've been putting out. Most Squiers are made in China now and I dare you to tell the difference!
Standard tele controls, 3-way switch with the chrome neck pickup and the standard tele bridge. Everything about this guitar says telecaster except the headstock. Seems to be a heavy basswood body, the neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Only thing I don't really like is the string through bridge. It's a tele. I give it a 9.

Absolutely amazed. The sustain is very nice even though it's not a string-through body. I dialed in a nice clean tone on my amp, turned drive up to 10 and it was Brown Sugar. This thing says Kay but the sound doesn't! The bridge pickup gives you that twang you expect from a tele and the neck is glassy and smooth. With distortion, I brought a fairly nice Rich Robinson sound out of it. It's a tele, they're versatile. Don't expect to wail like Zakk Wylde on it.

The action was set up a bit high, but I like it that way. The neck pickup needed to be raised, but the bridge was perfect. The finish is a gorgeous mirror black that was perfect. I tried to find a flaw but couldn't.

I haven't had it long enough to gig with yet, but I will be next Saturday. I'll use it for a couple of Crowe's covers and some country-style originals. I have a strat with 'buckers that I use for everything else. This thing is solid. I don't have a backup tele, this is the one.

Haven't had it long enough, but who is Kay? I doubt I'm going to get anyone for support.

I've played off and on for over 20 years. I've owned many styles of guitars from Pauls to Strats to "others". I prefer no-name instruments because I don't have to worry abut beating them up. This is now my tele clone. It gives me all the sounds I need and then some. I'm even going to use it where I used to use my strat in a couple of songs because it's so much brighter. If stolen, I would cry and moan and try to find another one. I've played a ton of tele clones and this is the best one I've found so far. I figured for the price, I really can't go wrong and I'm glad I risked it!

This guitar sounds good on distortion with a nice clean 25 second sustain, I use it on a Park 16 Amplifier, and whoa!!!!When this thing is on distortion it is f...ing noisy!!! Nice Rich sound. It can make too many sounds, sounds extra loud on distortion. And da**it, I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!

This guitar can withstand live play, Good lasting hardware even though I wiper it down every day and 5 minutes later it has dust on it again. I have used it w/o backup, good solid strap buttons. Defeintley I'm dependant on it.

Been playing for 6-8 months, I own a epiphone and a Mt-2 Metal Zone. The Epiphone is not 1/2 as good. If it were stolen or lost I would buy a Washburn PT3 instead. Nothing bad about this bad boy.
