I'd just like to add to my review that I now have the treemolo arm back from the German supplier. It is the correct arm and works well. It took about 14 days for them to get it back to me. Not only did they supply the arm but they gave me a new set of strings for my trouble. Impressive service. I highly recommend this dealer.

Despite having my first guitar as a 14 year old, I am still very much a novice, having never really grasped the basics when I was younger. Having taken my old Strat copy from the loft where it has lain for 15 years and found it beyond repair, I decided to try and pick up a cheap guitar to get me going. The Keiper seemed to fit the bill nicely. I gather from other reviews that they are made in China for the German company. The details of the guitar are as described by other reviewers. I bought the guitar on Ebay for less than I paid for my first Les Paul copy back in 1973! It arrived from Germany in just 3 days and came safely boxed with a lead.

As I say, I'm a novice, but this guitar sounds excellent to me. Massively better than any guitar I've owned before.

Set up seems absolutely fine. The strings are of decent quality and I have had to adjust nothing (but, to repeat myself, I am a novice). The guitar looks magnificent with no flaws at all in the finish of the body or any of the metal parts.

The only problem was that the tremolo arm supplied did not fit. The fitting on the guitar appears to be 6mm while the supplied arm is a 5mm thread. By agreement I have sent the arm back to the supplier who has undedrkane to provide me with the correct arm.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I can see no reason why this guitar will not stand the test of time. It is very solidly made and really looks the business. I've never played live (and probably never will) but I can see no reason why it wouldn't be suitable for gigging as a primary guitar.

Customer Support : 8
As I say, delivery was tremedously quick and I'm waiting on the return of the correct tremolo arm. There is a 2 year warranty.

Overall Rating : 9
It looks good, it plays well and for me it is exactly what I wanted. Whether it is likely to suit a professional, I can't say, but then if you're making your living from playing, you can probably afford to buy a big name guitar - I can't. I would thoroughly recommend this guitar, but suggest you buy it on Ebay rather than direct - it seels for ?299 on their website!

I have been playing for twenty five years and have tried Gretsch, Stratocasters and quite a selection of Les Pauls and I must say that this is an improvement on them all! Comparable to Ibanez and for such a good price (mine was #70 on e-bay) it has the best action I have ever tried, floyd rose tremelo system two twin and one single coil pick up and a five way selector switch, my playing has improved dramatically since I had it as the sound quality is very good and the action is so light with no fret buzz!
It required minimum set up on delivery, was well packaged and is now my pride and joy!

Sound : 10
Played with a dunlop wah pedal and Boss overdrive pedal It sounds like Stevie Ray Vaughn's version of Voodoo Chile it doesn't matter what amp it plugs into as it can vary in tone from heavy metal to blues and rock n roll, I have even started a few jazz experiments with it

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Great shiny black finish, looks very similar to an Ibanez, gold tremelo system, knobs and nut lock sets if off very nicely, so far haven't found any flaws with the design.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Can't comment on this as I haven't gigged it yet! but I would use it without a backup as I do give it quite a thrashing, but it seems quite solid

Customer Support : 7
It has a two year warranty but I doubt if I will need it, customer support would probably be quite difficult as sellers English is not very good and my German is appalling! but that can't be held against the company

Overall Rating : 10
After 25 years it really improver my sound and is actually the first new guitar I have ever owned, I went through a few Les Pauls before settling on something that felt light to play and had a varied tone and this was one of two new unknown guitar makes that I tried that improved on the original big names.
