I don't know when it was made, the guy who gave it to me said he had had it for 17 years so I suspect it was made sometime in the early 60's.
The top appears to be solid but you can never be completely sure with imports they have a way of disguising the grain around the soundhole to make it appear as if its solid.
It's a 12 string Acoustic with a tail piece that the strings go thru and the bridge saddle was missing so I made one out of a piece of deer antler.
The body appears to be solid mahogany including the sides and back.

I think the sound would be okay once I have a few problems repaired.

This guitar was made in Korea and like most Korean guitars it didn't appear to be set up very well.

This guitar is not reliable at this point the neck is going to need resetting so I have a challenge ahead of me, it also appears to be very bowed but I'm going to have to make a wrench before I can adjust the truss rod because they used a very unusual truss rod.
The finish is excellent considering its age the top is satin finish the sides and back are of a red glossy finish which is beautiful.

I've been playing for 36 years and I own several electric and acoustic electric guitars. I repair guitars as a hobby.
If this guitar was stolen I'd say good riddance because it is in need of some serious repair.
