WOW! You would not believe the guitar that I am now playing for the money I paid. I saw this 12 string on E-Bay and made an offer that was super low, and before I knew it,..it was mine. The listing stated that the guitar was new, but buzzed on the 15th fret. I figured I could easily fix that, so I made my bid. The guitar was listed as a $350.00 value. Now that I have received it from the auction house, J-hill, (very quickly delivered),I believe that it could be sold in stores for at least twice that amount, it is beautiful. It did have a neck problem that a local guitar tech adjusted. He straightened the slightly bowed neck, put on Elixer strings, and installed new bridge pins (for some reason they were brittle), lowered the action from 5/32 to less that 3/32 and charged me $85.00. Now here's the kicker.....I only paid $81.00 for this awsome guitar! With the adjustment and new gig bag, I'm into it for a little over $200.00. It is clearly my favorite guitar to play. I have a couple of Yamaha FG-11's, a Fender acoustic/electric, and a Vintage Ventura 12 string (it's pretty sweet too). The fit and finish are amazing, (if there is a flaw on this giutar, I can't find it). The action is now sweet and the sustain goes on for months (O.K....maybe just weeks) but it is an amazing value.

I'm 55 years old and I started playing when I was 12. I took twenty years off, but now play a fair amount of Christian Gigs as a rythum back up with some pretty good musicians. If this guitar was stolen, I would definately buy at least one more (I probably will anyway).
Kona guitars is the best kept secret on the planet....but it won't stay that way forever. Get yours cheap while you still can.
