The humbucker is VERY HOT. When i roll off the volume knob when im in the lead channel, the high end drops out, and you get this muffled sound. I dont know if this is the guitar or my amp, it very well might be my amp. This thing is very well suited for playing with distortion, and it sounds wonderful clean for being such a hot pickup. pinched harmonics come out so easy and this guitar has the most comfortable neck i have ever played on. It is unfinished so you dont get any sticky-ness after playing for i while. Love the sound over-all.

I was very surprised when I got the guitar. The action was almost perfect out of the box, I only had to lower it a hair. The pickup was also a pinch too low, but no big deal. The guitar came tuned i little flat, but that is only expected. Due to tiny shims in the neck to give it a "better angle for the floyd" the floyd is hovering off the body very slightly, not even enough to pull up a half step. The origional floyd kicks butt, nothing like the crappy knock off floyds. All parts of the guitar are A+ quality, and have no flaws at all.

This guitar is a BEAST and is one of the best guitars i have ever bought. I love everythig about this guitar. The only thing i would improve is helping the pickup clean up when rolling off the volume. Other than that, 100% kick butt guitar!!!! THANK YOU KRAMER!

I would say that this guitar has tons of features and give it a ten, but it doesn't, and isn't that the point of the Baretta? Anyway, this guitar has all of the features that it's supposed to and a little bonus. Floyd Rose bridge, awesome gibson pickup, super slim fast oil-finished neck, abalone inlays (bonus; 80's baretta never had this). Also, the floyd posts are of the new bushing variety, so they can be replaced should they get worn out - isn't that thoughtful? The body and neck are solid maple, and this can tend to get weighty (especially after only owning plywood guitars). The neck is a one piece maple affair with big jumbo frets (which I like). Overall, it's a catch of a guitar.

The pickup in this guitar is awesome! I can't get enough of hearing it. It cleans up really well when you roll off the volume, and all the way on, it totally screams. Again, it only has one pickup, so it doesn't have that poopy neck pickup sound that some people like, but who cares? People that want this guitar know what they're getting into.

Unfortunately, this is the only thing bad I have to say about this guitar. The Baretta is supposed to have a flush-mount floyd for dive only, a la EVH. However, there is a tiny little shim in the neck to give it a "better neck angle for the floyd." The result is that the floyd is floating off the surface of the body, but not enough enough to make it a true floating floyd. You can only pull it up about a half-step, which renders the up fuction of the floyd dumb. End result: all the tuning problems of the floating floyd and none of the benefits. Either way, this is going to be resolved when I changed the first set of strings out, so it's not the end of the world. Also, the body is a little bit thick, so upper fret access is kind of hindered.

I reall enjoy having this guitar, mostly for the neck. It plays really well, and looks great to boot. Should the body of the guitar disintigrate, I'd pull the neck off and put it on another guitar in a heartbeat. That said, I really enjoy the entire guitar (in addition to the neck). The body is a little thick, which contributes to its heaviness and to the upper fret access woes, but these are things I suppose I can work out on my own. Also a free hardshell case doesn't hurt it either.

22 Fret Rosewood Fingerboard, Slim Tapered Maple neck with "R2" nut, Hard Maple body, single slanted humbucker at the bridge (Gibson Handwound 91TZ)Original Schaller Floyd Rose and Schaller tuners (black hardware) and Kramer Hardshell Case.
I'm giving it a 9 in this category because even though there are not tons of features, every feature it does have is peerless.

This guitar has a unique voice. Surprisingly well rounded for a maple bodied guitar. Harmonics leap right off the frets. Buzz free. No noise. Very versatile sound for a single-pickup guitar. It will do any style of music, but it just begs to rock out.

This guitar was set up perfectly right out of the case. It stays in tune like you wouldn't believe. Do a search for lightningdan on YouTube if you want to see it in action. The action and pickup height didn't need any work, but it did need tweaking after changing from 9's to 10's but any floating Trem would need that. No issues. I cant find a single flaw and I've owned it about 2 weeks now.

I can't imagine anything going wrong with this guitar. It feels very solid. I own a Kramer 1984 as well, and its built like a tank. I think this one is even better.

I haven't had to deal with musicyo on this guitar but I've dealt with them in the past and they're great.

This guitar plays and sounds fantastic. Everything about it is Grade AAA high quality. This guitar was hand made in the U.S.A., and it really shows through. The pains the guys at YO took in recreating this masterpiece really paid off.
