im not sure what year it was made (late 80's im assuming) but it was made in neptune, NJ! (they dont make these guitars anymore, kramer bottomed out) its got 22 frets (medium frets, they are GREAT for shred) its got a solid top with a REALLY nice sky blue finish! its got 2 covered seymour duncan humbuckers(ala EMG) in a weird position (bridge humbucker is normal position..neck humbucker is in the middle (leaving lots of space next to the neck) these are passive pickups but, man...these SCREAM! i have no idea what type of wood is used, but its nice :) i got this thing used like 6 months ago! as i said before its got a solid sky blue finish... it doesnt have a pickguard...it has a 3-way pickup switch and 1 tone and 1 volume switch! the body style is the same as a randy rhoads V (uneven points) its got a bolt on neck! it also has a floyd rose "PRO" locking trem...the tuners just say kramer :) neck is pretty damn thin (which rules) i got this used so i didnt get any accessories other than an ass-whupping kramer hardshell case! this thing can hold the guitar LOTS of accessories in its compartment...a dunlop crybaby IN the box...3 effects pedals...and 3 tablature books...and 6 outlet surger :) 5 cables!

Sound : 10
i play everything from slayer/metallica/megadeth/pantera to zeppelin/clapton/acdc/van halen..ozzy...this thing is PERFECT for it! i am using a marshall valvestate 100W head through a peavey 4x12 amp and this thing ROCKS! as of now i am using a dunlop GCB-95 crybaby wah-wah pedal! and an ibanez SC10 stereo chorus with a BOSS MT-2 metal zone distortion pedal! this guitar is not noisy at ALL! this thing produces sounds from everything from METALLICA crunch to hendrix clean tone! (LOTS of tonal variety) i really use a couple of settings..one is turn the tone knob ALL the way down and put on the neck pickup and use heavy distortion and it KICKS ass...or just turn tone up and use bridge or neck humbucker... i like EVERYTHING about this guitar...the only thing that took some getting used to was that i like to bring my pickups REAL close to the strings for high output and the position of the neck humbucker gets in the way of my picking..but i got used to it and now it helps me cause my pick can move REAL fast without moving through a lot of space AND a REALLY cool feature is since the neck humbucker is a flat (as is the bridge humbucker) guarded pickup (looks just like EMG's) and its farther away from the neck...it can be used as an additional fret! it makes like a SUPER high b or c...(great for that mastor of puppets lead)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
it was setup great from the music store i got it at (reprise music) the pickups were set regular place but like i said...i like HIGH pickups...i cant find ANY flaws...and i have banged this around and layed it down on a concrete floor (im a retard) BUT it doesnt have ANY scratches...this thing holds up...the only problem i have is that with this and all other floyd rose guitars...is that im not that "skilled with it" so i changed strings and i couldnt tune it with a whammy so what i did was put a wooden block in the trem cavity so it stills locks the string but i cant use a whammy bar so its basically a fixed bridge but that is just a problem for me cause im stupid and i cant setup a floyd rose :)

Reliability/Durability : 10
will it withstand live playing? it already has! and is in perfect condition...the hardware will defintiely last a long time... its got a good thick finish...the strap buttons are extremely reliable...i could go skydiving with this thing :) i can depend on it as if my LIFE depended on it :) i could but i like to use lots of guitars (merely for looks but this is my good sound guitar)

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with the company cause they dont exist anymore so i cant give a rating for this guitar!

Overall Rating : 10
if it were stolen i would DEFINITELY buy another one (if i were lucky enough to find another one...cause you can only buy used ones..the company stopped making guitars) i love everything about it...i hate nothing....i wish it had a neckthru design but thats about it! if you can find this guitar (not this particular one cause its mine :) but the same model and brand...get it! you wont be dissapointed... its worth the money (and they will go up in value)
