First, this is original American Kramer 620,and I think that factory
does not exist anymore. Now you can only found Korean Kramers. It is made in late 80,and realy have that metal/hard core spirit.Features are clasic:H/S/S Duncan designed,Korean made(humbucker is angled like strat, and coil spliter),5 way selector,2 tone,1 volume, original Floyd
Rose II,top lock, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard,22 frets, thin and fast neck, body like Ibanez S or JS.Original Kramer gig bag and tools for Floyd Rose are included.

I play everything from Smiths to Dinosaur jr. to Metallica To Jazz etc...This is very versatile guitar because single coils are Strat-like,and humbucker are very heavy and distorted.Coil split mode are exelent expecially for AZRA(the best rock band by the way).I play my Kramer with Korg AX1g processor(Boss Metal Zone sometimes) and Trace Elliot Brat amp(read reviews for this, they are verry accurate).Nice set up for home fun.Rounded body are verry comfortable. But,if you want Steve Vai sustain forget this guitar. This is guitar for alternative-agresive music, not for Hi-Fi.If you want hi-end tone, pay very much than that(I pay about 300 US$ for my second hand Kramer620),and buy Carvin DC127 or Ibanez JEM.Anyway, sound are great for this price range.Guitar are very versatile, and if your budget is limited like mine,Kramer620 (made in USA) is great choice (maybe Jackson Performer is good too).I forget to say this is rare guitar becouse the new one not exist(only Korean made) ,and no one want to sell them for a couple of hundreds.Rating is 7 overall, and 10 for this price range.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Finish is good(rating 8),electronicks are still OK(after 15 years),Floyd Rose is Floyd Rose(I mean the best),bolt on construction is still solid...The only bad thing about this guitar is action. If you put action too low,you get some fret buzz on some places. But no one keep action that low,and for normal low action it is OK.
Reliability/Durability

After 15 years only bad thing is that jack for cable become week, and one tone control have some noise during use.Everything else, including finish are still good.

I play about 12 years and this is my best guitar.I played a couple of guitars in this price range (Yamaha,Squier,Peavey,Korean Ibanez) and I can say that Kramer is the best. This guitar also have some unique tons because angeled humbucker, and palm muted E string is great if you have cheap amp.Really great guitar for 300$.And as I say the spirit of 80s hard and heavy music, when music was emotions and energy, not fake rage and way to become rich.
I'll never sell my Kramer, but maybe I'll buy Carvin DC127.And of course a good tube amp.
