Made in the USA. Black with yellow pickguard/pickup covers. Super-strat setup: single/single/hum, all Seymour Duncans. Original Floyd Rose tremolo. Incredible neck (thin, but with enough substance to feel comfortable.) Presumably designed by Tom Anderson. Made circa 1987. To my count, this guitar provides a total of 12 different pickup combinations plus a kill switch option that turns everything off. Very cool. Everything in this is original. Super cool looking guitar that would be a real find for anyone.

Sound : 10
Omygod! Fantastic. Better strat sounds than a lot of strats I've tried. The JB in the bridge sounds better than a lot of other humbucker-equipped guitars I own, including PRS and Gibson. The PRS has Dragon 2s, and the LP has first generation burstbuckers. This thing exceeded my expectations. I love every sound I get out of it. The single coil sounds are very articulate without being overly bright, and the HB sounds phenomenal. Just like a good HB should sound. I absolutely love this thing.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Now it's a 10. When I got it, it needed work. The Floyd Rose needed tweaking, and the action was way too low on the bass side. Also, the pickups were at horrible height. I spent some hours on it and it now is perfect. It plays as good as my PRS, but an entirely different experience.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It's 20 years old and practically mint. I suspect it will outlive me.

Fantastic. I first spotted this guitar almost a year ago from a website I should keep anonymous. On a whim, I checked their site recently and could not believe that it was still available. I could not resist. I got it for an incredible price. I can't believe no one had bought it. I feel very lucky to have purchased it. I must admit, when I first received it, I thought I'd made a mistake buying such a statement (black with yellow.) But, I now have no regrets. This guitar plays beautifully, sounds gorgeous and it's quite the looker. Good luck finding one on the vintage market. Like they say, you snooze, you lose. My recommendation if you ever see one: buy it. You may never get a second chance. This guitar is quickly becoming one of my favorites!

I have two, both USA. one black with a red pickguard, and one white with a red pick guard(repainted I suspect).both are identical in reguards to pickup config. and trem type.floyd rose and duncans.the (black) one i bought in 2003 for $800, new off the wall at a guitar store that was a big kramer dealer back in the day.it had been on the wall for nearly 20 years and it was mint. the second one(White) was bought on E Bay used for $400.Believe it or not they are one serial number apart.I almost shit when I saw the numbers.

Sound : 10
The black one is incredible. It plays better than any guitar i own and I have some very nice guitars to compair it to.It does twangy, smooth, crunchy, and sounds as nice clean as it does with heavy distortion.A real camelion. You can not knock it out of tune.I think its unlike any floyd Ive ever used.Drop the bar to the body and pull on the dangling strings off the neck and when it comes back up you just cant believe its still in tune.Every player I know thats ever played it says holy shit. Its that unbelievable

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Its pretty, but I couldnt care less if it were ugly and beat to shit. The action is perfect.I set it up too low for my style once and it still played clean. The pickups sound great and give you enough variables to really make this your main player for almost any gig.The neck is PERFECT..The only design flaw is the top pick up switch. It sits just under your pinky on your picking hand and it gets in the way if your playing aggressively. Its a sharp metal toggle switch that will rip a gash in your hand if your not aware of it and hit it too hard

Reliability/Durability : 10
never any problem.Ive never had any reason to take it to a shop for anything else than a set up.

Customer Support : No Opinion
What support. Its 20 years old.I didnt even send the warrenty card in.they would still be laughing if i did.

Overall Rating : 9
If it were stolen or lost id cry. I must say, that the two I own are different. They play similar, but dont feel exactly the same and the white one doesnt stay in tune nearly as well as the black one when I really beat on the floyd rose.I wish they used a regular 5 way switch instead of the sharp steel toggle that seems to be intentionally put there to mane. This model is one of the best kept secrets in music.

Kramer EE Elliot Easton Pro 1; was purchased california 1989; body is black; still has price tag on it; $1299 yellow pick guard and yellow pickups; floyd rose strat style with s/s/h neck has ebony fret board; guitar is one of a kind; unique look very cool looking and is in sytle today as much as it was when purchased

Sound : 8
I have played country, hard rock, rock'n'roll, blues, on this guitar; pickup configuration allows one switch humbucker to single coil for a great telecaster type sound then with flip of switch humbucker is back for fat hard rock sound; also when playing single coil pickups out of phase one gets a great blues sound that holds up to a vintage strat i purchased 30 yrs ago; ee pro is my favorite guitar in the studio; only effect i use is tube screamer ts-808 through marshall jcm 800 combo

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
I bought this guitar because it was so good looking; no flaws although it took a while to get use to the action; could have been lower guitar was well made

Reliability/Durability : 7
guitar does well withstanding live playing although does go out of tune when floyd is used--I have had guitar techs work on spring config on the back; adjust intonation and have applied suggestions found on the internet; still will not stay in tune after using the floyd where as I have a focus 1000 with same floyd and it never goes out of tune tough guitar as to it has rode in the belly of a DC9 from nashville to montana and arrived in one piece although case was crushed to pieces

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
ive been playing for 35 yrs
not sure if I would buy it again although i believe one day it will be a collector's item i love the appearance and that i can get a clean country type sound and then get hard rock crunch i play a lot of slide on this guitar also
i wish i could use the floyd without it going out of tune; 5 yrs ago i would have given this guitar a bad rating as I tried to sell it for $300 although it has been so good to me in the studio and sounds so good on recordings i plan on holding onto this guitar as to i have learned to appreciate it

Mid late 80's U.S.A. made. Tom Anderson designed guitar! Has many similar features of current Anderson model "Drop Top" minus the fancy top. All Duncan pickups, hum/single/single config. Single volume, single tone. 3 on/off switches, with 3 way switch on hum for series/parallel. Maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, Schaller tuners, real Floyd Rose (not "licensed" Floyd). All around great find! Original case.

Sound : 10
Unbelieveable variety of tones and options due to switching system. All the necessary tones are stuck in there, and great Seymour Duncan pickups. Way cool guitar that kind of slipped in under the radar. Find one of these!

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
Bought used obviously, needed much setup work, but I expected that on a used guitar this old. Plays like a champ now. Quality USA made Kramer product, one of the good ones!

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
It's approaching 20 years old now. Everything is stock on it, still runs like a champ. Will have to report back in a few years after banging on it for awhile, since I just got it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Gibson owns the company now. Never dealt with.

Overall Rating : 10
Something I have wanted to get my hands on for awhile. They only fetch 300-$400 on Ebay, and being a Tom Anderson designed guitar, a fantastic value at that. Not a whole lot of these out there. Get your hands on one. Elliot Easton is one of those guys that is pretty particular about his guitars, and this piece is a good example of that and the diversity/uniqueness of this guitar makes it a great piece to own, and available at a great price. Real Floyd, Real Duncans, USA Kramer era, original list price of over $1000 (in the 80's...figure some inflation on that, would currently list close to $2000 or maybe more), plus TOM ANDERSON design on this. Pretty much adds up to a killer guitar available at a GREAT deal used right now! I'll buy them up if I can find them.
