Made in 2001 in korea.24 frets-two hot rail humbukers and a hot rail single pick up.Volume-tone w/coil tap and five way switch.Guitar is heavy for a thin guitar! Its kind of like the S series ibanez bodys.I got the cracked green finish and its pretty cool.I like wild finishes on guitars.Wish it was black and green instead of two different greens, but still cool.Hardware is good.comes with a floyd rose locking trem?Neck is thin and very fast.tuners are good.Came with allen wrenches on the back of the head stock{COOL}and a EVH D-tuna alredy installed :-)

I play rock/metal and some other stuff and it sounds great.I play it through a flextone II XL and a boss me-8 w/crate 1/2 stack.Pick ups are very quiet w/good distorsion. Not as good as my PAF pros in the jems I have but better than any $209 guitar I have ever played!Never had a kramer so when I saw the prices on these I went for it!Glad I did too. This is a awsome guitar for the money!Sounds good clean, sounds good on 10 too.

When I got it I had to adjust the neck a little.lowered the action some and she was ready to go.Everything seems very solid and tight.Neck joint is good.frets are good.Way cool for $209.

Just like anything,If you take care of it it will last.Watch the head stock though. It is reversed so its easy to hit it on stuff.

Musicyo.com ROCKS!!! When I got on the web site I wanted to order this guitar FR424S/D So I called them up and they dident have any left with the EVH D-tuna.No biggie for me so I went with the FR424S.Same guitar and same price but w/out the D-tuna.When I got my guitar from them I was suprised to see that it did come with the D-tuna on it!Thanks Jason!

Been playing for 20+ years and in a 70 80 90s rock band at this time.I have 3 Ibanez Jems and a tradition les paul copy. This was just to good to pass up so I took a chance and was pleased with it.Even at Mars or Guitar center if they carried kramers this would run you around $400 to $500 bucks.Feels like a $700 guitar!Wish they had stuff like this when I was yunger at these prices!

It was pretty good. I just needed to raise the action a bit. And tune it. Other than that it was great. No scraches or flaws on the sweet metalic black finish.
