My guitar was made in 2002 in Huntington beach,USA. It has 21 frets. It is for the most part a strat body guitar. I believe they only come in three colors White, Black, and a tabacco looking sunburst I recieved the lader. this one has same configuration as on a strat s/s/s but its also available with as h/h all of which are top of the line lace pickups. My guitar has 3 holy grails in it. volume, tone, 5-way selector standerd deal there.A kinda ugly 11 hole brown tortoise pickguard which will be changed aspa. the bridge is BASIC really really Basic, but it does its job. The neck on the other hand is amazing it's a multi patented neck with a 10.8 degree spiral profile and a bridge angle of 0 degrees. What does this mean??? Nothing to me other than this. Its a hell of alot easier to play. effortless fretting for the most part. Oh yeah and its maple on maple or seems to be. The neck also seems to have been cut against the grain which should add alot of extra strenth. It has very nice machined billet aluminum neck and headstock plate. It came with a very nice gig bag. Its a sad thing i dont use gig bags and a chrome wammy bar.

You can get alot of really great tone out of this thing. I play for the most part Rock and blues. 50's to date. Lace give you the option of 3 different pick ups and 2 different configurations so the tone is really up to you. I play through a few amps a marshall 2x12 tube amp, an old pre transtube bandit 112 scorpion equiped amp and a 1960's lindell. I would have to say it soulds best through the marshall. But guest what, everything sounds better though a marshall. You will be happy with the sound there is no week spots here. I owen a gnx3 and a rp300 and they play well together. Better than most.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The great people at broadway music here in RI set up this guitar or reset it. The string were to light for my liken' and way too fast on the action side. The pickups are way to high almost touching the strings. The top of the strings near to neck buzzed like mosquitos mating. But these were all easy fixes. The finish is flawless and alot like some of the top noch fender finishes I've seen. The neck plate is really nice, BUT my head stock plack has a 1/4 inch gap from the plate to the nut. Which kinda sucks. The Basic bridge looks like junk but as I said above works well. It stays in tune and all this is really minor in my book.

This guitar will withstand live playing. I have a feeling my grand kids if I ever have any will be playing this guitar or selling it on ebay for a mint.I added some strap locks the ones on it were fine. Gig with one guitar? I haven't been that broke in a while. But I think it would do fine if I had to.

Lace warrants this guitar limited to the original purchaser that the guitar product purchased shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life time of the original purchaser. Then they included their phone #, address, fax #, and an email address. So I can reach them. So far I haven't had a need. I'd give them a 10 for effort but a 5 for the unkown. Which in my book gives them a 7.

I have been playing off and on for 23years. I was ten when I started to bad of the many lost years inbetween. There isn't another guitar like this out there so if this was stolen I would try to replace it and I would be very upset because my guitar was the 32nd one ever made and there is noway to replace something like that. I have a fender use deluxe fat strat that hasn't see the light of day in a while because of this thing. I love this guitar its is very well thought out. Lace's sales pitch is "take any guitar off the wall and compare the feel" I back that pitch 100%. Play and enjoy.
