Not sure of country of manufacture, 5 way standard strat configuration. neck is maple with rosewood type wood, neck is excellent as far as fret finish, very good for this guitar, the body is very light, and at first this was a turn off to me, as I am used to heavy guitars, but after leaving it at a friends house for a month, I picked it back up, and compared to other guitars I own, and I discovered this guitar is a very good rythm guitar, but as a lead guitar, it was lacking sustain. this was on a all tube amp with 30+ watts. Neck is nicely done for this money. As I said, this guitar is really good for rythm but just don't get the sustain for lead, but I don't use peddles either, so if you do , that may boost it to level you use!

I like vintage stuff, and I use a RT-30 Randall, all tube amp, the guitar is very quite as the pickups go, these pickups are execellent, and for rhythm they are the best I have played. but for lead they lack tone & resilience, so that is why I wrote this review

Like I said, after I got this back, I really compared to my other guitars, and this had nothing to hold back, really great fret finish, and great pickup response, my only dislike was the weight of it, which felt like it would float off of me while i was playing it.

ashes to ashes, strat to strat, this guitar is way the best buy if you can find one. the makings of a real guitar that needs a heavy body. Pickups are good for ryhtm but not for other. I had a aria pro II strat, and a Yamaha strat copy, an this one is by far the better deal!
