Sound

very load, lots of dynamics, cuts through in a band, very well balanced. no boomy bass and very crisp but still warm and bluesy.
I played a Martin HD-28 before, but since I bought the Lakewood the Martin lives in the case most the time. The Lakewood is easier to be played and has a more versatile and contemporary sound that makes moe much more flexible, I love it!

the wood is of great quality the craftmanship is perfect.

It now looks aged but is still in mint condition, I couldn't ask for more than that.

I like this guitar even more than higher Lakewood Dreadnought models with more expensive woods like rosewood I also had a nice D-32 Cut. The D-18 can be seen on my website: http://www.jenshausmann.com.
also my Lakewood M-32 cut can be seen there, which a sometimes prefer when it comes to fingerstyle. Go and try these guitars!

Unbelievable Sound. You can make this guitar sound as you like. The only guitar of this quality I ever played was a 30 year old Martin D-28, that was much more expansive.

Good enough for stage performing. But I would feel too sorry with this guitar for busking.
