This is a compleet product. Nothing more en nathing less! Good material (see my oponend above) and a great finish off it all. The model is well playable and feels natural. The pick-upp B-band is the best I ever heard and works well in life situation.

Sound : 10
The sound is great. Not only for the player self but it has a maximum outlet. Try yourself a good Martin and play the same tune on this guitar and you know what I mean. It's fresh, clear and warm at the same time. If you playe with finger ore with plectrum it is very flexible in the sound. Light tones are bright and not thin. Basses are bright and not to fatt. There is a great balance wich make this guitar suitable fore more than yust one style. Try a funky rhytm ore fingerpicking and you know what I mean.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
need say no more than perfect finish. Fit like it was always one your lap. And maybe a fraction to much action but is was fitted in a minute by my dealer.

Reliability/Durability : 9
What can I say. This feels very solid. The way the neck is fitted to the body is feeling very strong and trusty. I shoot say. A life time must be possible.

Customer Support : 9
Great. Every mail they answer quickly. The website is a bit stupid butt gives the good information. But the support you get is what you wan't from everybody!

I play now for 20 years and it feels like my first guitar! I also play electric on a original Ibanez artist (one piece!) on a Mesa Boogie Trem-O-Verb. The Lakewood is suitable for different styles which I prefer.

I play mostly finger style and It?s a great finger style guitar, also good all around for all styles. The M1 offers a fine, clean sound the clarity and separation is very good. Although it has a smaller body than a dreadnought it has plenty of volume and bass, I love it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The craftsmanship on this guitar is awesome. The interior construction is brilliant no errant drops of glue, splinters of wood, anything. The tuning machines, saddle, bridge pins are all well matched and appropriately fitted. Topwood has no defects. Action is a little high for my taste but can easily be fixed.

Reliability/Durability : 10
The guitar is finely built. I am confident that it will withstand more than a live time.

Customer Support : 10
Have Emailed several questions to Martin Seeliger (the Lakewood Boss) before I decided to buy the Lakewood, always received an answer from Martin Seeliger within minutes. They supply a ten-year warranty with the guitar. Excellent.

I've been playing for many years on an Aria Classical guitar, I tried out many different manufacturers when shopping for this instrument. I wanted an all-solid quality steel string guitar with Cutaway and PU for a moderate price. I found the Taylor 312CE and Martin OM1Cut to expensive. I am very happy with my choice, i give it a 9 because of the little high action and no second strap button, otherwise a 10.
