It?s a full size classical guitar. Made in Finland 2001. 18 frets. Solid Spruce Top (Thermo Tone Wood). Laminated mahogany sides and back. Mahogany neck. Saddle and nut is made from bone. Fingerboard and bridge is made from rosewood. VanGent 2901 machine head. Nice satin matt finish.

I play classical style. The sound is not bad except the bass side is not deep enough and hardly to be controlled. Anyway this Landola beats any laminated top guitars.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action is for my taste, not too high, not too low. I have to say that drillings in this guitar is quite horrible, looks like that the drill bit is rushed through the wood. All frets are affected by rust. There are also two crack on sides and a short dent on top. Cracks on laminated sides are not harmful but I still have to say that there are too many mistakes for one guitar.

As usually, solid top classical guitar need an extremely good care. The top has passed a heat treatments, its a Finnish innovation. The goal is age the woods. For more details, please read http://www.landola.fi/thermo_tonewood.html . My guitar is made from 60 degree sawn spruce and that makes me suspect if it can last the lifetime. Naturally, non-quarter sawn woods typically change the form very dramatically after years.

I ordered this guitar directly from Landola factory by phone. The sales man gave good details about their products and I have to admit that they have a good patience.
Despite the good customer service, I still wonder how could they send be that careless. I trust the quality of Landola factory without any prejudice, but how could they send me that poor unit? A guitar with cracks, drill, rusts and etc. They still want keep their pride? This guitar is a stroke to the reputation.
There is two years warranty but the sales man promised that they would repair my guitar if the top start to cracking even the warranty were expired. Let?s C.

It?s a low price guitar. This time I gave a quite negative review for this guitar. I don?t know if other products of Landola are same but at least I lost my interesting to buy more guitars from Landola for next 10 years. Let?s see if they can increase their carefulness. It?s not good for the reputation.
