The sound of these pickups is absolutely blistering! perfect tone and no volume loss between 0 on low E and 24 on high E!!
Suits my style perfectly (I play anything from metal to near acoustic sounding rythm and high distortion lead pieces)
Im using a boss ME6 Multi Fx pedal (Comp-dist-EQ-Delay-Chorus-reverb) works very well together.

Very well set up, Joh is a master of that whole area!

Had a silly type of jack in it but after a little mod which joh suggested haven't had any issues.
The whole thing feels very tight and agile
strap buttons feel good and is all round a very nice dependable machine!

Been playing...coming on two years now
A boss ME6 Pedal, Pandora PX3, and some recording stuff.
If this was stolen id probably buy his Explorer type guitar as he doesn't make these any more.
Could never go to any other type of pickups now that iv played these though!
Love the clean sound of it and how light and agile it is.
The worst thing about it is probably the floyd rose tremolo :P
Was thinking of an ibanez Gat but when i was offered this i couldn't say no.
If theres anyhting else i wish i had its a decent amp!
