This guitar sounds perfect for vintage jazz, swing, rhythm and blues or blues. It has very much sustain for a hollwbody, due to the fact that it is exclusively made of wood (no plywood or laminates). Allthough the guitar is bigger than Levin 320 M/2, it is not so quite so powerful for solos. The 320 is brighter due to the ebony fretboard and -brigde.
If I rate as a jazz guitar I have to give it a ten.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Very low action. The original frets are very thin and worn, so I have got to get a fretjob if I want to use this one for bends. The fretboard feels very much like a Gibson from the sixties, and I like that.

You can tell when you see it, that this guitar is not made last year cause the spruce top has altered its shape a little like guitars use to do - quite contrary to my 1958 Levin 320, that does not appear to be very old. The 325 M/2 is quite solid though. The same PUs. No hum.

I like that the materials used are superior to most of the guitars you can buy. This guitar made me understand why people are paying so much money for vintage axes. It is not a question of Levin or Gibson, but a question about, whether you buy contemporary laminate and perloid or Wood and MOP.
I would recommend everyone who wants a hollowbody to check out Levin. The most expensive have the smallest number e.g. 312, 320, 325, 330, 335 and the semihollows 340 (ebony fretboard) abd 350
