I have absolutely no idea when this standard classic solid wood guitar was built. It was however made in Korea. Because of this I'm assuming it was made in the early 80s when Levin was on it's way out of business. It does carry the "sound of wood" symbol, meaning it's made of solid wood. and how is this fine instrument you ask. The neck is extremely wide, which actually works nicely playing classic guitar or fingerpicking.

It is coated with an enormous amount of varnish. Now I thought this would dull the sound. And this might be true, but with high tension strings, it's the most beautiful nylon guitar sound I've heard for years. Balanced, full, great sustain with that solid wood resonance which is so wonderful.

This is where the whole thing falls apart. Factory setup was Korean. The frets seemed unfinished and needed a workover. When I bought it the bridge was coming loose, I'm guessing that this guitar pretended to be a steel string when it was young. Flaws? Not really, not from the factory anyway. They came with age and abuse.

This guitar weighs more the most classics. The finish is thick and won't wear off. This is the Mac truck of acoustics.

The company died, strangly enough, there is still a levin.com website. I won't be contacting them.

I've been playing for more then 30 years, I've played sooooo many fine guitars over the years, but strangely, this is one of the sweetest acoustics that I've played. If it were stolen, then I would be without my Levin. Replacing it could be hard. I've never heard of the model even though the Levin brand is relatively well known.
