London City guitars (and amps) are invented in Holland The Netherlands and build in China. They also make prs look a likes very well. This one comes in a pack with a small amp ect...
The guitar is from real wood. It has an Elzen body, Esdoorn hals, Palisander toets (I don't know the english terms for the wood).
It is a stratocaster so you have a 5way switch and 3 elements.
This one is sunburst with black elements ect... Very good chrome hardware. Very good looking and not to heavy.

At home I play with 2 12 inch speakers and a tube amp from Philips and a tube amp from Geloso. Live I use the same and in the bandpractice I use a Marshall 100W with a 4 speakercabinet.
As effect I use a Zoom G2 with expression pedal. Clean the sounds are amazing. The 5 way really sounds different and the treble works verry well. With distorsion the difference is al little less when using a tubeamp but you can still hear the variation good. With the transistor amp from Marshall you can hear the different sounds very good. I have used many guitars like a few squiers with fender elements and even a Galanti but this is my best buy ever.....
The guitar was to be my back up but I can't stay off....so my other guitar now rests.....

I have made the action a little lower. I use 0.09.
No need to change anything else. The guitar is very well adjusted.
At fret 12 the guitar is very well tuned also, so you can play very nice solo's there. No dead frets, no poorly filed fretwire ect... The guitar hardly distunes. The tremelo works perfectly. Not to rough use offcaurse.

I am playing for about 4 to 6 hours a week.
Meanly rock and blues like Pink Floyd, Live, Anouk, Melissa Etheridge and lots of (solo) improvisation.
So far so good. I have the guitar for about 6 months now.
I changed the strap buttons but thats it...

I have been playing for about 40 years now. I have used and bought and soled about everything there is...
Amps, guitars, effects. Now I have sold about all.
Except my Geloso and Philips tube amps, some cabinets and my super guitar.
Early Japanese guitar. Sunburst. Two elements. A beauty and that's also the way it sounds. Ry Cooder has one just like it. Teisco ET 200 is the name... But it is not original. It has everything from the Teisco except the body.
So, this London City guitar was cheap. I payed 150 euro's.
It's a good guitar.
I am in love....and the Teisco is not used much anymore.

I thought they only made guitar amps at London City?
Hell no, they also make guitars.
The Spitfire Mk1 is designed in the Netherlands and built in China, it is a strat-clone with 22 frets, and the usual 3 single coil pickups, 5-way selector, two tone controls and a volume control.
Maple neck with sonokelin fingerboard and vintage tremolo (like on a strat)

The three single coil pickups together with the 5-waye selector give a variety of sound from a warm-full sound to that typical bright strat-sound.

The guitar was set up perfectly, the action was very good. In fact this guitar was even better than the cheap Squier models. The finish of the body and neck is excellent.

This guitar is most likely fit for live playing, it seems very durable. The only thing I changed on the guitar where the strap-buttons, not because they were no good, but because I like strap-locks.

My dealer gave me a one-year warranty and a free neck and bridge adjustment after three months of playing. I have no experience with the company.

I've been playing the spitfire for a few months now, and it still amazes me how easy it is to play, with the thin neck and splendid action.
