I own and play the real thing for ages now....have had a dozen of them. Always upgraded them either with different pups or different tremolo-bridges. This MK2 Spitfire strat I recently adquired has such a beautifull candy apple red color with such a lovely maple neck....
thanks to the domarzio's it sounds awesome..
Far better than most of the (factory) Fenders I owned.

Factory set up stinks....like all facotory setups in my opinion...
Loosened the tremolo block as it was tight on the body.
Also adjusted the back spring tension to get the trem unit floating.
That was all there was to it. By the way, had to do the same thing with most of the American strats I bought.

This guitar will definately withstand live playing ! It sounds just awesome ! And most important of all, it a quater of the price of the American....!
This is my main guitar during gigs....there's always a backup but it's got nothing to do wtith the quality of the guitar....think of string braking and such....perhaps I even buy another one as back up, considering the price..

No opinion ,as they hasn't been needed yet !

This guitar is the works, either for beginners as well as the pro's...Futhermore considering the price I ask myself why pay more just for the name on the headstock....

pickups: from what I've read they're Dimarzio OEM, so they don't carry the name and aren't as top of the line as the real deal but still quite good.

All in all this is an exact copy of a strat (except for the fretboard). But it's affordable and made quite well.

I'm a varied musician. I have several guitars and I bought this because I wanted a guitar with single coils. Since I didn't have enough money for a real strat, I started looking for the next best thing. Compared to the squires I tested this guitar playes a whole lot better and sounds better too.

I bought it secondhand so most of the 'action' was set by the store I bought it at. However, it was set quite well. The finish is quite pleasing.

Only point of critique, which has more to do with what I'm used to, is that the neck is lacquered as well. Whereas my other guitars don't have that. But that's just a matter of getting used to.

From what I was told this guitar is usually used as a 'backup' because it's so good. For me it'll be a 'main' axe next to my other guitars. Depending on the sound I want.

Occasion storebought. THough the store is question is pretty good in support, but I'm not going to grade this as I have had no dealings with London City.

It's a great guitar, both for beginners and intermediate players. And for it's price it's quite a bargain. I can really recommend this if you want a strat style guitar.

I dont know when it was made but it is a Dutch guitar made in China.
It is a stratocaster model .I bought it in the Netherlands for 285euro

Sound is great en suits my music styles like shadows, country en other pop-styles.
I am using it on a Fender de Luxe 85 amp en i can play loud but also quiet if i want. It has a warm bright sound that is typical for a Fender sound because the guitar feels and plays like a Fender strat.
There is nothing i dont like about this guitar,its a beauty.{candy apple-red.)

The guitar is well adjusted by the factory

I have no experience with the durability.

Warranty is one year and i can trade it for a new one within two years en get 60% rate on a new one.
