This guitar was made in India and I don't know what year. It has 21 frets on a rosewood fretboard, which has like a 7" radius because it's hard to bend strings on it. Some of the frets buzz and I can't fix the problem. The frets are also pretty small. The body is plywood (YOOHOO!). It's black with the most scratched up finish I've ever seen, but surprisingly, there aren't any chips out of the finish. It has 2 humbuckers and a vintage style tremolo which is the suckiest thing I've ever used. Two tones, one volume, but I rewired it to two volumes, one tone. Ugly headstock. The previous owner had installed some really good Gotoh tuners and that's about the only good thing.

I pretty much play heavy metal with it, and the look of it fits the style. The pickups actually have a pretty nice and meaty sound to them which I liked. It's only noisy when the frets buzz on 3rd, 11th, 12th, and 13th frets. That's very annoying. The guitar is not very versatile. I don't like the plywood body, I don't lik the tremolo, and I don't like the neck. It's good for playing rhythm, but leads will buzz and it's hard to bend.

The action wasn't that bad, but I like medium-high action. The tremolo sucks, it won't move much because it gets blocked by wood in the cavity and that's pretty stupid. I'm either goinng to put a replacement bridge on or just block this one off (even though it pretty much already is). The neck sucks, I've already ordered a 22 fret replacement from Carvin with an ebony fretboard. Oh yeah I almost forgot, the bolt-on neck joint is the poorest design I've ever seen in my life. I thought a Stratocaster's was bad. This is even more bulky than a Strat. I can't even hit the 21st fret. I'm going to take a saw to that thing and carve the joint down so that it's playable. I can't wait until I finish customizing it. It will be a pretty good guitar then. Also, because of the plywood, you can see the lines of the different plies on the finish. That's pretty crappy.

The thing is built like a tank, I don't worry about hurting it. The finish doesn't even have any chips in it, which is odd for a Flying V. I might want to put a replacement bridge on it, cause the bridge just leaks cheap and like it won't last. Otherwise, everything else is good. I did expect when I bought it that I would be doing a lot of customizing before it was playable. The strap buttons totally sucked and the guitar fell one time when I just turned to the side!. I got some huge washers and put the screw through the washer then the strap, then screwed it in. works as good as $12 straplocks and it only costed $.15 for two washers. I wouldn't use it at a gig in it's current condition because I hate playing it, but once I make it better, then it will be perfectly good for gigging.

I have been playing for two years, I have an Alvarez electric guitar, a Kramer (both of which I LOVE), a couple of acoustics, and a Yamaha bass. I play through a Crate GFX20 and a DOD Deathmetal dist. pedal. If it were stolen, I would be angry because I want to use this guitar as a project guitar so I can learn how to repair guitars. The thing that I love about this guitar is it's tone. It's pretty thick and meaty, perfect for rhythm. I hate just about everything else, but I'm changing it to my liking. Once I get everyhting the way I like it, I'll be really pleased with it.

I have no idea where or when this guitar was made, the neck resembles
that of a '70s strat with the enlarged headstock. The guitar was made
from a plywood body and has a maple neck with rosewood fretboard.
Metallic red finish two cheapy humbuckers and unually small 500k
pentometers.Great for begginers

If you like AC/DC,Randy Rhoads,Mick Ronson,Zakk Wylde,or other guitarists who use guitars with dual humbuckers(Les Pauls,SGs,Explorers, ect.)If you are more into blues you may want to consider a stratocaster,if you like country get a telecaster,or if you like cutting edge heavy ass metal get a Jackson, and if you want quality guitars that sound great for a non-gibson cost get a Blade, but if you're a begginner who likes '70s hard rock this is you're guitar. If you really want to break the bank and get the best get a Gibson
