This is almost just your basic strat copy, but a gew things saved it and made it stant out as a huge bargin. It has a pure ash body, in a $250 guitar! That is the same wood that is used in ultra high-end models. Beautiful rosewood fretbord and mine has a birdseye maple neck, good luck finding another one. The pickups are not anything special and I would recomend replacing them if at all possible. No-name machine heads, jumbo frets 1 volume 2 tone controls. All in all not to bad for $250

the pickups drag this guitar down a little bit in this section, not high enough output. they buzz quite a bit when near a tv or a computer or any other large household applience. I have been running it through three different fenders, a vibrochamp, champ 110 and a stage 112 SE. It sounds like crap through the stage se ( but so does anything else you plug into it ) but is actually pretty good on the champ and exelent on the vibrochamp. The amp always does make a huge difference.

This guitar has the mostbeautiful finish in the world. It is kind of an undescribable silverburst. It has a greyish blue mother of pearl pickguard witch helps inhance the look quite a bit. From what I hear, these guitars don't come out of the factory in that great of condition, but if you have a great guitar technition ( such as the guys at nicholsons music) or are willing to do a little fileing down of the frets and bridge yourself, you can have a high quality guitar for just a little over $250

I don't play gigs so I dont know about how it would hold up live but I've never had any serious problems. the finish is VERY thick and take quite a beating. very solid guitar
