Features : 6
not sure if i got the right model number, but its a strat copy. made in india quality (hehehe), ash or alder body, round maple neck, rosewood fretboard, fairly heavy body. pretty basic straitforward setup.

Sound : 4
well, for in this price range you cant expect too much. it was my first electric, i played through a crate solid state combo. its basically a strat type tone, but the humbucker fattens things up, so you can get a usable crunch tone for heavier rhythm stuff. gets plenty of treble (not too much), not alot of mids, and a little more bass. it will feedback if youre not careful. the output of the pickups is good. i wouldnt describe the tone as rich or deep by any stretch of the word, but its a decent beginner instrument.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
the action was shitty when i got it, and i didnt know any better since i was a begginer. as i learned more i fixed the action as much as i could, so now its ok for rhythm, but still not great. anything that you can adjust on this guitar, i adjusted it over the 2 years i played on it, so basically the factory setup was a joke. the hi e string buzzed like a sitar for a long time, and eventualy i replaaced the nut and its better now. the tuning machines suck.

Reliability/Durability : 9
well this guitar has taken quite a beating over the years, and its still holding together. the finish is ugly, but its tougher than on my $800 ibanez. the parts are shitty, but they didnt fall off or anything.

Customer Support : 1
hahahahhaa. midco? who are these guys? where are they from? do they really exist?

Overall Rating : 4
ive been playing for 4 years. my current rig is an ibanez RG 7 string through a few analogue pedals and a line 6 flextone head, so obviously i dont use this guitar anymore. actually im trying to sell it to help buy a speaker cab. i would laugh at anyone dumb enuf to steal this guitar when i have almost $2,000 dollars worth of good gear laying around. i got this guitar after about 6 months of playing as my first electric. i played it in my first band, and we were pretty trashy sounding so the guitar fit in, and being a begginer i thought it was a good guitar. this is definitely a begginger guitar. i guess at this price your lucky if a guitar doesnt fall apart, so i cant talk too much shit. but this is definitely a cheapo guitar, so unless your a begginer in a trashy garage band dont use it. if you are starting out my advice is to go for a $300 or $400 ibanez or epiphone, you will get a much better instrument. if you already own a guitar, do not buy a lotus unless you want something cheep to smash on stage.
