This is a circa 1982 high-end Lotus guitar that is a clone of a top of the line Washburn Eagle.
This guitar was made by Moridaira company in Japan. It appears that certain top of the line Lotus's, Hohner's, and Morris's were made by Moridaira.
This guitar features a set neck, brass nut, brass saddles, brass circular fretboard markers, white finish with fancy abalone-esque binding all around the guitar, and dual coil-tapped humbuckers with a three-way switch and two microswitches. The pickups are unmarked, but are hot and look like they could be DiMarzio's.
The body is solid (not cheap ply), but I don't know what kind of wood it is. The guitar weighs a little over 8lbs.

With the coil taps, this guitar is capable of all sorts of tonal variants.
It's balanced very well, perhaps even better than a true Washburn Eagle, which is pretty bottom-heavy.

This guitar has no flaws and plays great. I just had the frets leveled and dressed.

This guitar is 25 years old and it's still in excellent condition. With proper care, it will easily last another 25 years.
The finish is thick, but the white paint has yellowed considerably over the years.

I've been playing off and on for 20 years. This is one of the nicest guitars that I've ever owned.
Early 80's Matsumoko guitars (Aria Pro, Westbury, Washburn, etc) have really come into their own in recent years, and this guitar is very similar to those. Although it was made in a different Japanese factory around the same time, it is of the same high quality as the top of the line Matsumoko's it was copying.
