This guitar was made in japan. It has 19 frets. It's top is spruce, the sides , neck and back are mahogany. It has an under saddle pickup and 4 band EQ with a volume knob and 9 volt battery compartment. It has a single cutaway in the body and the finish looks good. The bridge and tuners are standard for a mid priced classical guitar . The neck itself feels OK for a guitar of this pricerange. It came with a cable and one 9 volt battery. I bought it new for 127.95 on ebay. No case or gigbag came with it.
Sound

I play in church and use it primarily for gospel music, though I only use it on special occasions. I am running it through a boss AD-3 accoustic guitar pedal and a line 6 flextone 2 XL amp. The thing I am kind of critical about is that you have to turn the volume knob WAY up to get a decent sound, still, it does he job. The sound the guitar itself makes is pretty decent. I was surprised at the tone. What I like about this guitar is what you get for the money, a decent sounding classical guitar that looks good and plays good. What I don't like is the volume of the pickup, it is just too weak! It will work, but you have to crank it up around 3/4 of the way to get it to sound right!
Action, Fit, & Finish

I had to tune up the guitar, because it was out of tune when it came out of the box, but the setup seems to be OK. The under saddle pickup seems to be lacking as I said before in terms of volume, but the sound is decent! The guitars construction seems to be decent for the price. I have not really noticed any major flaws with the finish or electronics, they perform decently, but what can you expect from a classical guitar that only cost 127.95 new??
Reliability/Durability

It seems to hold well live and in the studio and as far as durability is concerned, I will just have to give it a few years and see. The finish is not as good as a higher priced classical, but is ok for a guitar of this price range. The guitar is a classical so it has NO strap buttons, it isn't supposed to. All in all, I think it will hold up well and I would not mind trusting it at a gig. I belive I could use this with out a backup classical, it seems made well enough.
Customer Support
:
No Opinion
Never dealt with tech support so I don't know what kind of service they give! It only has a 7 day money back guarantee that was provided by the seller on ebay NOT the manufacturer! I don't think it comes with a warranty from the manufacturer themselves.

I have played over 20 years and know a decen instrument when I play one, this guitar may not be the fanciest or most expensive, but it does a great job for what you pay for it! I own a lot of other expensive equipment and I can assure you that for the money, you can't lose on this guitar. I have no regrets about purchasing this guitar, though I wish I would have asked the seller about the warranty for future reference! I would definately buy this again if something were to happen to it. I love the cutaway body, but I hate the fact that the volume has to be turned up so high on the pickup! The favorite feature of mine for this particular guitar is the way it plays....smooth and easy! Not the best classical guitar there is, mind you, but you get a lot of guitar for a very little price in my opinion! I only wish it would have come with a cheap gig bag to complete the deal! As far as this guitar goes overall, it is a good deal for the price you pay! If you need a good classical and don't want to spend (or don't have) 500 to 1000 dollars for a professional classical guitar, check this model out! For the money, you can't beat it! I know....I have looked!
