it has an unusually glossy finish consistent with vintage guitars. i was told it was made of rosewood... but i dont know that for sure... the frets are jumbo. it was made in japan... who knows when, 70's i would guess. it has 19 frets. it has a very meticulously detailed mozaic inlay around the sound hole. infortunatly... thats all i know about it. if anyone knows more about this guitar could you let me know?

This guitar is by far the best guitar I own out of all four of my guitars! I play mainly an indi folk rock acoustic type music. And this guitar is perfect for my style! Its a small parlour sized classical guitar, most likely made in the 70's. It has a beautiful full, deep sound... I would imagine you could play anything from classical to acousitc rock. I would have never thought I could appreciate nylon strings.

I just got this guitar as a gift from my mother. It is probably thirty plus years old and I would not change a thing about it. The action is amazing... and everything is is pristine condidtion. Although there are some pretty deep scratches on the body... but they dont affect the sound in any way. the finish is in great shape after 30 years of wear and tear.

If this guitar has made it this far and stayed in the shape it is in... I have no doubt that it is going to last a lot longer. I'm taking it everywhere with me. it's the perfect guitar to travel with.

Ive been playing for two years now, but i have grown up around guitars almost my whole life thanks to my much older brother. I own two other expensive guitars... this guitar cost $40.00 and it sounds better. I played my friends lyle acoustic and fell in love but could never find one... until my mom surprised me one morning with this one. I imediately took it and got it restrung because some strings were missing. as soon as i played it i knew it was "the one". that guitar that you know you will have for the rest of your life.
