Shaped like a BC Rich Bich, deep purple metallic finish, grover tuners, chrome hardware, neck-thru, meh....you get the idea...all the stuff listed above.

Sound : No Opinion
Got mine used, and in MINT condition, with case back in Jr High (think late 1995) for christmas. My first 'real' guitar, and i STILL own it to this day, and it still plays flawlessy. I've made some mods over the years though. Its been routed to accept a recessed Floyd Rose bridge, with locking nut, and I've swapped alot of pick-ups through this axe. All kindsa DiMarzios (X2N, Evo, Super 3), EMG 81's,Bill Lawrence 500XL's, a Dimebucker, and most recently a pair of SD Invaders. This guitar seems to work best with a slightly thicker, darker pick-ups since whatever wood its made of (I'm gonna guess alder) is a tad bright. Playes like a dream, and breathes fire with the right pick-ups. I play death nad thrash metal, and its NEVEr let me down in the past decade. I play it through a Randall Cyclone 300watt head, and a custom 4x12, with a TC Electronics G-Major for effects.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
I didnt get it new....but It was mint when i got it used, and despite being abused for 10 years by me, it still looks and feels solid. Finish is still shiny, doesnt scratch easily at all, frets are great, and the fingerboard (though I need to clean some grit build up off) is still perfect. I think these axes could withstand a nuclear detonation

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
As stated above...it could outlast a friggin' holocaust, and its certainly lasted well through many a drinking binge, and rowdy rehearsal. Lesser axes would be toast by now. Mines gonna be with me till I die...and I'm having my cremated ashes put in it. Dont know whos gonna inherit the beast though.

Warrenty? Woudnt need it anyway. Through this axe off the roof it'll come back and shit on your face for pissing it off.

Been with me for pretty much as long as I've been playing. If it was stolen, well.....if I ever caught the thieving bastard, it'd be a hot soldering iron through his eyes...for starters. Couldnt ask for anything more, and most guitars Ive owned still pale in comparison to it. This is the cheaper alternative to an American BC Rich, and just as good.

I bought my white TR-2 new around 1985. It has black hardware. The body shape is a copy of a B.C. Rich Bich.
24 frets, neck-thru construction, rosewood fingerboard. The strings go through the body. It came with a whammy bar equipped bridge but I never really used it - partly because the bar was angled too far upward and was hard to use.
One or two of the Grover tuners it came with crapped out about 10 years ago so I put in new Sperzel locking ones and they work great.
Active electronics, three way pickup switch, cut-off switch and coil tap switches.

Sound : 9
Mostly played in metal bands with it, but also alot of other stuff on the side.
The stock pickups are nice, but I put an EMG-81 in the bridge position.
This guitar has always sounded good.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The only complaint here would be the previously mentioned whammy bar angle - it seems like the hole was drilled wrong. I like a fixed bridge anyway, so it never really mattered to me.
This guitar has the best neck I've ever played on. The neck-thru body construction is great - you can reach all 24 frets easily with no bolt-on heel to deal with.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I replaced some parts over the years: All new frets, new nut, tuners, strap pins.
It's been pretty reliable - some things just wear out eventually.
The strap pins were too small.
The finish is good. It's a little on the yellow side now, but looks good that way.

Been playing for about 25 years.
I like everything about this guitar and would buy another if I could find one.
I don't even want to think about it being lost or stolen.

I have recently acquires a MAKO TR-2 Electric Guitar. I believe it was made in the mid-eighties. It came standard with Grover Tuners and pretty bad-ass pickups. It is a passive guitar. but with one flick of a switch it is active with killer sustaining pickups powered by a nine-volt battery.
It has a Toggle Switch, a rythym and lead setting for each of two humbucking pickups, and the active/passive switch.
It also has a tremolo similar to a floyd rose, but with less responsiveness, although it is still good.
The best thing of all is that this is a solid body guitar with a beautiful neck, of somekind of awesome wood as a fretboard. 24 frets as well.
I believe it is a japanese guitar, it is white with black hardware. It is similarly shaped like a B.C. Rich N.J. Beast

If you are playing metal are hard rock this is an outrageous guitar.
With the pickups in the passive position there is absolutely no hum even with the most hardcore distortion pedals, a little feedbackish with the active pickups on. Rich, Full sound sort-of bright. Harmonics are very simple to create with this guitar. I like it a lot for its skinny ass neck.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Great stock playability. Action is perfect with no rattling. Pickups were in good position but I put them into great position. Its a little old, but I could tell it was white. Now it is a little beige, but I am going to paint it black anyways. One small dent in body.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Will do marvelously when playing live. The grover Tuners should last me 30 years. The finish will last, but I don't like the color, the color is my last concern though. Great strap buttons. NO backup is needed for this dependable fellow.

I've owned a retarded starfish MAKO previously and was amazed by its playability. MAKO brand guitars are the SHIT and should be kept by all who obtain them. I have never heard of MAKO before two years ago. Never needed repair, and don't know about the warranty, don't care.

Overall Rating : 9
I have been playing for 6 years and this is the beat guitar I have ever owned. Plays beautifully and is very fun to play. If it were stolen I'd kill the guy who had the balls to steal it. I wish it had locking nuts at the top of the neck. I compare it to a GIBSON.
