The sound is fantastic for the money ?200. Rich and mellow to high and bright. I play mainly instrementall these days and you can get some really good tones from this model.I'm playing it through a fender automatic amp and the new Vox DA5.

Set up from the factory was o.k. but I droped the bridge and changed the strings to erny ball super slinky. This made the action excellent.Pickups are very good double pole. The finish on my model is very good, no complaints here however the tremalo is very poor and dosn't always return to base as it were makeing the whole guitar flat or sharp. A quick tap on the arm puts it back in tune but this is very annoying.
Five way pick up switch on mine is wired the wrong way so you get the middle pick up when the switch is forward and the front pick up when the switch is in the middle. But this gives some very nice tones.

should withstand live playing.
Hardware looks good we will have to see how long it lasts
Finish is good and I can't see any problems.
Stap buttons are strong.
Up to now it has done everything I've asked of it but I would not use it without a backup.

Ive been playing for about 35 years. I also play an American Strat and a Les Paul. I baught off the internet so I had not tried it before purchase but at ?200 you are not buying a Rolls Royce.
This guitar does look very good my main complaint is the tremalo.
