I play a wide variety of music--blues, jazz, contemporary pop--and the p90 equipped Liquid covers all that and more--There is single coil noise on the neck and bridge pickups, but not too bad--when both are on, they are hum-cancelling--There is nothing I dislike about this fine instrument--
Action, Fit, & Finish

The Liquid was delivered to me from Los Angeles, as part of an official endorsement with Malden--I have never, in 40 years of playing, had a guitar out of the box, set up so well--perfectly crowned and polished frets, straight neck, intonation adjusted, etc.-As far as fit and finish, exemplary in every aspect--and I am not saying this because I endorse Malden--I say this as truth--Malden(the company and the founder)has raised the bar significantly for a quality of imported guitar--He has also 'modernized' if you will, the vintage 'jazzmaster' type guitar--bigger frets, a wider(10-12"radius)fretboard, quality tuning gears(I don't know who makes these, but they work great), and an excellent set of p90 pickups, which when in the middle position, are hum cancelling--

I would put this guitar against any bolt on neck electric on the market in terms of fit, finsh, attention to detail--It is a completely professional grade guitar, and I think that more people should try one of these out--i really can't say enough about it, except keep up the great work!!
