The guitar has Queensland Maple neck, back and sides with a sitka spruce top. Mine is fitted with the AP4 acoustic pickup which uses 6 piezo crystals under the bridge and has bass, mid and treble controls as well as volume. Non-locking tuners and no accessories included.
Sound

This guitar has a great sound for the price. I play a lot of different styles and it manages to perform well for all of them. The pickup is quite good and it gives a very clear acoustic sound.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action was a bit high but some adjustments have fixed that problem. The guitar is a very well made guitar with no glue showing anywhere inside or out, good fretwork and a lovely finish. The mahcine heads are pretty cool with the maton engravings on them.
Reliability/Durability

From what i have seen so far this guitar looks like it could last a lifetime, sturdy as a rock. It has good strap buttons and i would certainly rely on this guitar.

Maton are a very helpfull company, i've e-mailed them some times asking them questions and they always reply within a day. The guitar comes with a one year warrenty.

I've been playing for 4 years and own another couple of guitars. For the money, this guitar beats anything, hands down. If it were stolen, i'd find out who did it and kick their ass, then get another one. Anyone interested in getting a bloody good guitar for the price should try a Maton
