L'ho comprata quest'anno, color rosso vinaccia, con 2 pick up ( doppia - con switch su potenziometro- e singolo)
L'estetica e fantastica e la consistenza della chitarra e eccezionale.
Le uniche cose che mi hanno dato da pensare sono:
-il selettore switch: un trabiccolo che si e rotto dopo 2 giorni (assolutamente inadeguato al prezzo della chitarra)
-il ponte tune-o-matic: fatto con i piedi (inadeguato al prezzo della chitarra)
Comunque e una chitarra che si suona da Dio...

Io faccio rock alternativo e devo dire che ho dovuto inacidire il suono aumentando gli alti nell'equalizzazione. Comunque ha un suono fantastico.

Accidenti! La chitarra e bella ciozza e si batte veramente bene...
Me l'hanno addirittura buttata per terra ed e ancora integra...

Non so esattamente che garanzie dia la Maton,ma so solo che per cambiare il selettore il negoziante (Musical Box di VR) mi ha fatto mille storie finche non ne comprato io uno.

Made in 2001 in Melbourne Australia, solid body a cross between a Les Paul and a PRS (in my opinion), finished in transparent emerald with white binding and 22 frets, it has 2 original Maton pickups humbucker in the bridge (splitable) and a single coil in the neck.2 volume and 2 tone controls (1 push pull for the humbucker) with a 3 way toggle switch, the setup is much like a Les Paul with a tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail.It has standard vintage tuners with a smaller 24-1/2" scale neck with jumbo frets.

This is easerly my favourite guitar, it sounds alot like a gibson but at the quarter of the price. I play through a Marshall vintage cab with Tech 21 distortion, It has a rich/full sound and isn't noisy at all.It would suit any style.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The setup was pretty good from the factory, but I had to reset the action and the intonation when I got it home, because I changed the string gauge.

The whole guitar seems to be built pretty tough and the finish too. It has the best strap buttons I've ever seen, no need for straplocks.

The only problem with this guitar is if you wanted to change the pickups you would have to do some modifications to the body, because your standard Duncan or Dimarzio humbuckers are fractionly bigger then the matons (I wouldn't want to change them anyway).I not waiting until the guitar is lost or stolen, I'm already saving up for the Maton delux SD.
