None... This is a teeny red bass. This guitar does the most basic of bass sounds, and when combined with a SansAmp Bass_DI it sounds killer. I'm a guitar player that uses this bass in my project studio and the lack of complications is a plus.

It sounds like a bass guitar. Period. No personality or any special qualities at all, either positive or negative. There are no buzzes and the pickup is clear enough to reflect the difference that a better set of strings can make to the sound. I've used this guitar for Country, metal, classic rock and blues gigs....... I have made serious money with this axe. I have played it through big and small Peavey bass amps, and I have gotten great results playing with the Sans-Amp using a 300 watt PA head through two 15" bottoms as well.

Ha!!!
This thing is built like a tank. It is heavy as heck for it's very small size. But the thick red enamel paint finish and the cheesy hardware just make me feel less guilty when I toss it around. No flash, but like I said, a real workhorse.

There is nothing 'fine' about this instrument, so I have NO compunctions about abusing it. This axe takes the proverbial licking and keeps on ticking. The only time I've taken a tool to this thing is to tighten the strap buttons. With all of my abuse this thing still looks just fine, no real dings, cracks or scrapes.

I've owned this axe for 8 years and it just refuses to die. I originally bought it for recoeding and nothing else, and then I went through a 5-year period where the only paying gigs I got were to play bass. I have made lots and lots of money with this axe, so it has been VERY functional. It is by no means, however, a fine musical example of great bass craftsmanship.

This memphis is a Korean made bass. I think it has 20 frets. It is solid black with a laminated top. It has a volume knob, and a tone knob. The pick up is a humbucker. My Dad got it for me to learn on when I was about 9, but now I am 13 and I think i am ready for an upgrade...this baby is too small for me and has hardly any features. It came with a gig bag which comes in really handy sometimes.

It really is a good bass just to hack around and practice on. I am using it with a park bass amp which goes with it good. The louder you get with it the more noisy it is. It has more of a bright sound.

It is a pretty well built bass I would say.

This bass is not good for live playing. Well at least i wouldn't recommend it. I have banged it around so much, and it still holds up. It will last for a pretty good while I suppose. I haven't had any problems with it, and I would recommend it to parents who have kids that want a bass/guitar. I wouldn't use this bass at a gig,...period.

I have been playing ever since I was 9, (i gave it up for about a year though) and I am 13 years old now. If it were stolen or lost, I wouldn't look for it, I would try to get a new and better one. The best part about this bass is its durability. This bass and I have been through a lot of rough times together.
