I got this Strat from the german (master) luthier Jorg Tandler. It's an exact replication of my old '59 Fender Stratocaster. Very lightweight alder body, hard rock maple neck with a fat dark brasilian rosewood slab board. The fat D-shape neck is equipped with Dunlop 6105 frets and delivers a maximum of playing comfort. In opposite to my old Strat it features 2-tone sunburst finish with nitro lacquer and finally it's a hardtail version. Greatest workmanship, biggest TONE, lots of fun... what can I tell you: After a couple of weeks I sold my last old Fender Strat and ordered another '59 Mintage Custom Strat (with tremolo this time) which Jorg will build within this summer - Thanks man!

The guitar offers all varieties of sounds known from the Stratocaster. But in addition to that the 2nd tone knob is used as a switching device to achieve a true Tele-wiring, or all 3 Pickups together - so the sound options are endless! I play the guitar with an old Fender Deluxe Reverb (late 60's) and VoodooLab footswitches - with this combination it suits all my needs from Blues, to Country to Rock - this is the perfect instrument!

Jorg is doing 100% handcraft and has a philosophy of absolut committment towards quality, so that it's obvious that the guitar was set up perfectly - it's a dream!

No problems at all. Last year I played over 30 gigs without even thinking of having a back-up guitar with me - it's a real slogger, undestroyable!

Whenever you got a problem, Jorg is at your disposal. But you have to know that Jorg is doing this business as a "one-man-show" so that he may not be available within a few minutes.

I'm playing guitar now for more than 15 years. During this time I changed a lot of instruments and owned also a lot of Fender vintage guitars. At the moment I just own and play my beloved Morgaine Strat and that's it. In my opinion it's the best guitar you can get for your money - just forget all those high priced so called handmade instruments from the Fender or Gibson Custom Shop. Make yourself happy and get a real Morgain guitar - it'll pay off!!!
