1967 (?) Mosrite Celebrity 12 in sunburst. Serial number P-0042.
1 x volume , 1x tone on white plastic plate, small metal 'hat'knobs with 'M' stamped on top.
V good woods, Kluson deluxe tuners, very thin neck but easier to play than a Ricky! Figure that one out...
Was owned by Oliver Sain (session musician) and purchased from J Gravity Strings MO. 2 x single coil in black plastic.

Brilliant sound! Very warm and has possibly the loudest and most reponsive pick ups I've ever heard on a semi. Goes from a smooth jangling to a full on blues sound. Very very versatile. I've owned many semis and this has to be the best - sorry Rickenbacker!

Very low frets but very low action! Set-up was excellent - plays like a dream - your fingers fall on chords! All hardware excellent quality!

I'm not sure about gigging this. Given it's pedigree I'd probably say no! Seems like it could take gigging though and very robust into the bargain! I'm fairly sure I could depend on this!

I've been playing for 10 years now and have had (mainly) semis - Hofners, Gretsches, Rickenbackers etc etc (never a Gibson though!).
My other guitar is an Ovation 1968 Tornado. Quirky but rather good...
Not a patch on this though. Quality straight down the line!
