This is the first NNG acoustic model. Built in 2004. It features 6 strings 14 frets dreadnought body style, solid honduran mahogany back and side, solid sitka spruce top, scallop bracing, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, rosewood veneer headplate, no pick guard, 5 pieces sandwitch neck (mahogany/maple/rosewood/maple/mahogany), full body ivoroid binding, Gotoh enclosed chrome tuners. A hardshell case and a guitar stand included.
Sound

Fingerpicking with songs like Aubery, Diary, Vincent, Annie's song etc., this guitar has a nice mellow sound, lots of sustain. Trebles is clear although not as bright as my 12 strings Guild. Bass is full but not booming. Intonation is very good. Flat pick strumming also yield a well round sound with good notes definition.
Action, Fit, & Finish
:

Action is low with no buzz. Neck is comfortable and very playable up to higher frets. Crftmanship is flawless but the all satin finish make it looked rather cheap.
Reliability/Durability

It stay in tune very well. The satin finish looked thin but so far it's still intact. The hard shell case fit the guitar well but is a bit floppy.

It is a small factory. The owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful. They installed a Dean Markley Tohoe pickup to my guitar free of charge and help me repairing my other guitars.

I have been playing for more than 20 years. My other gears include Guild F212XL, Baby Taylor Maple, Ibanez GA500S classical guitar, NNG thinline telecaster, and a Royal tenor guitar. At first I intended to buy a rosewood version of this guitar but when I visited NNG factory and tried this one I could hardly stop playing it. If it was stolen! I would not buy it again. I will go for a higher NNG model instead.
