Pretty standard Tele format, but that's where it ends. This is without a doubt the best playing and feeling guitar I have ever played, let alone owned. I am 35 years old and began playing fender electric guitars at the age of 6. I've worked in several music stores in my life and played, sold, and set up many new and used Fender guitars and the like....nothing comes close to this. It has a Medium "C" maple neck with a 10" radius, Mary Kay White finish, and a black pickguard. It is equipped with Lollar Pickups. The finish is worn and aged, Bill Nash refers to it as "Workingman". It is a functional work of art...not something you would hang in a museum, more like a blowtorch you could conquer the world with. I gave it a 10 on the features not because it has a lot of buttons and knobs, but because it doesn't.

You can do anything with a good Telecaster. This guitar is very responsive to my attack. It can go from a scalpel to a chainsaw without stepping on a pedal or changing your amp setup. Just use your hands. This is achieved from a combination of wood, set up, electronics, and attitude. Warning: just like all "hot" Tele's, mistakes will be in your face too, so practice often and loud!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Action was great right out the box. Just minor tweaks for my style.

Pickups are adjusted perfect, though the bridge might be a little high if you rest you hand on the bridge a certain way. But it's fine if you choose to get use to the set up. Pickups are also very evenly matched in regards to output.

The Aging on the guitar looks great, but I feel that it is more for the function rather than the form. With less lacquer the guitar really come to life. The hardware is aged but works perfectly fine.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I don't know Bill Nash personally, but I feel like I do know him in a since because of what he is able to achieve with these guitars. For a man I've never met to build a guitar that I bonded instantly with is stunning....Bill and I want the same thing out an instrument, thus I feel like I know him.

Everything is first rate on this guitar and you would absolutely play gigs with it. And if you need to use it as weapon in a "chicken wire" gig, feel free....it will only add to the character and you will still be ready for the next song.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't needed any support.

I'm not a gear snob, but I do believe in getting anything that gets you closer to the sound in your head. Now for a lot of us, that sound changes over time, but for the moment between my amp rig (Dr. Z), my pedals (Xotic, Keeley, Boss), and now my Nash, I feel like I have the freedom I've always wanted.

The guitar was hand-made of USA Parts in Olympia, WA through Bill Nash. It is a 1952 Roy Buchanan lookalike Telecaster with a flamed maple neck provided by warmoth and an ash body by US-Custom-Guitars. The color is honey blonde and it is slightly aged.
I had an earvana nut installed with planet wave tuners (yeah, I know, this is nothing like a 52, but I liked it that way). Apart from that it is a real telecaster.
I also got a thermometer case from Albert Molinaro of Guitars are us, CA. I had it sent to Bill and he got everything else done. This incredible package was then sent to me to Germany. Just wonderfull.
I'll give it a nine cause it is "just" a telecaster, but no one would expect anything fency anyway.

Sound : 10
The sound is just great. What else can I say? Tons of sustain... wonderful.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Nitrofinish, aged, very well done. I expecially like the neck-work Bill did. The action was just well done. Nothing to complain about.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have not tried it live yet, so no opinion here. It just looks and sounds like the workhorse I have been looking for.

Customer Support : 10
Well, I am from Germany and own some decent guitars. Looking for a Tele that would suit my needs, I found Bill's website (www.nashguitars.com). I contacted him through e-mail and we tackled everything online. Bill is very professional and knows, what he is talking about. He also goes out of his way to make ends meet. Very good customer support here. He also provides a special custom webpage to see your guitar being made. Everything well done, I would order another one in a heartbeat if this one was stolen.
This guitar is BETTER than all the Fender Custom shop ones I have tried. Apart from that, it was less expensive and custom made (smaller fretboard eg.)

Overall Rating : 10
Wonderful Guitar. It is just another gem that I got though a couple of years. Nothing more, nothing less. Go and get one.
