I'm using this with a Fender Cyber Deluxe, dialed in to SRV type settings. Pickup are hot and somewhat dark, very suited to blues. Nails the live Clapton 'Cocaine' sound. Nice definition between notes. As typical with strats, the lows are emphasized nicely but the highs are somewhat less piercing than usual. Although the pickups are especially noisey even for single coils when you move past 6-7 on the guitar volume nob. Not bad below that level.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Set-up is where this guitar really shines. Clear attention to detail here. Action is set low, but without buzzing at any fret. Easily played anywhere on the neck.
There was a slight imperfection in the nitro finish, but in an unobtrusive place, and not of bother to me. Frets were nicely finished and evenly set without high or low spots across the neck.
Reliability/Durability

All the hardware feels like it is good quality and reliable. I suspect the lacquer is somewhat more susceptible to damage than a cheaper poly finish, but that's a worthwhile tradeoff in my opinion. This feels like a dependible guitar that I would be completely comfortable with on a gig.

Warranty is 2 years. Nash Guitars is owner-operated and therefore easy to speak with the guy who built you guitar. I have not had to deal with them on any problems, but have been pleased with a business transaction, and Bill seems like a great guy.

I have been playing for 25 years. Own Americian Std Tele, Epiphone Les Paul, Godin strat, Tokai 6120, Ibanez Artstar, Ibanez Acoustic, Norman B20 Acoustic, Luthier built tele. Have had many other guitars over the years (more guitars than talent).
The neck finish is a little "stickier" than I like, but expecting that it may become less so with age ( or I'll get more used to it )
This is the best sounding strat I have ever played.I have had other American Std strats in the past and this far outshines them. Very good workmanship, great sound, terrific feel is making this my favorite guitar.
