Two piece Alder body, birdseye Maple neck, locking tuners, steel block trem vintage bridge saddles (like a fender), style of a strat but cut square like a tele also the headstock is unlike a fender but it looks like a spade shape (symmetrical rounded tapers to a narrow rounded tip), medium c shape neck, dunlop medium frets, three pick ups, Seymour Duncan Duckbuckers Neck and Mid, Screaming Demon Bridge. Tone, Volume, 5 Way switch.
Basically created to out do a Stratocaster or Telecaster and then some!
Finished in a thick Nitro, classic green seafoam color.
Made by Bill Nash (obviously) in the USA

This guitar easily outshines any Fender Strat or Tele, super quality materials to start but then awesome sound to boot. These pick ups may have some strange names (Duckbuckers, Screaming Demon) but they sound awesome. You can dial in vintage sounds and you can even keep up with some Singlecut sounds you'd get from an LP. Excellent Deep end and great range on the tone control and volume. Zero Hum (nowadays we expect that). Besides that the guitar is a little sticky (thick nitro) but that will improve in time.
Oh playing through a Holland Brentwood 2x12 KT66 tubes with this guitar, I can go from nice clean to raw power growl overdrive distortion you get the point and it drives it pretty far up these pick ups have power to boot! (Other times I use a V-Twin in front).
Also pick attack sensitivity is very good.

Everything impeccable since I got this as a scratch and ding, I did find one ding. But fit and finish are just perfect all frets were great, setup was awesome nice low fast. Impeccable thick thick nitro finish (can't wait to see what this guitar will look like after 20 or so years - yep this is a keeper!)
Has a very neat headstock to neck join that i saw on my Abyss hard to describe, the headstock piece is angled with a U form in it and then the neck fits into that all of that on a gradient. (So not a flat join line)

Well just got it, got promoted to my gig guitar replacing my Zachary Z1 (which btw is every bit as awesome but I wanted to move more towards a classic look) It looks super solid and I will take it without a back up unless I need a very specific sound that I get from one of my other guitars.

As far as I can tell Bill makes some of the best Fender/Tele guitars around this one of course an Ultracaster is made to look different from those and it makes quite a statement, definitely have to get used to the shape, but boy the sound is awesome and it plays great. Who knows this is the future of Strats and Teles ... then again I imagine Strats and Teles will be around forever so maybe this will be a whole new line of a new modern classic. Although I guess guitars like the DTM G4, Cobras, Maple Ts all perhaps are somewhat like this guitar except they use a full Hum sing sing setup.
