Purchased on YAHOO Auctions. Made the decision to purchase with the thought that there would not be any warranty.

I am very satisfied! Again as in my post about the Nelsonic TLC, not only is she set up properly, she is intonated and arrived IN TUNE. Definitely done right. If you have the means I higly recommend you pick one up. 34 years playing I'm not easily impressed. For the price it's a steal. I gotta tell ya folks, this is really sweet. I have owned many guitars in my lifetime. This ranks with the best. Ebony fretboard, FLAME like no tomorrow. She's a keeper !

Made in 2002 in Korea. 22 Frets. Looks like a photo-flame top. 2 tone, 2 volume - basic LP setup. Pickups (H/H) are from Nelsonic. Mahogany body and set mahogany neck, transparent finish, tune o matic and stop tailpiece, Grover rotomatics, 24.75 scale, included small cable and 2 picks.

Sound : 5
The POTENTIAL sound suits my style pretty well. I play punk/metal - not crap that requires no talent (Strung Out, No Use, Slayer, In Flames). Anyway, I play through a 5150 half stack, but instead of using the 5150 head I use the combo to power it - it's a little more clear. The pickups are a little microphonic, and I think there's a bad ground in it, because when I take my hands off of the strings there's a hum coming through my amp. Overall, the pickups are pretty full, but a little nasally for my tastes. The clean channel is pretty warm and bright, but I don't play too much clean - so these pickups are going to say goodbye next paycheck. The mahogany resonates quite well, and this thing sustains forever. The guitar has a VERY fat sound, but the pickups kinda take away from that. You could probably play anything from jazz (no pickup replacement) to metal (get new pickups). The only thing I don't like about this guitar is the pickups.

This is where this guitar shocked the absolute crap out of me. The action and setup was FLAWLESS. The neck has just the right amount of relief, and the fret job is really smooth. There aren't any sharp edges at all! Setup and intonation are as close as you can get to perfect. The finish is pretty nice - but not flawless. It is nice and thick, and won't rub off if you rubbed it for a month straight. Top is pretty close to bookmatched, but I'm not going to whine about minor flaws like the rest of the picky b*tches that review other LP copies. Who's going to see them anyway?!

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar is a tank, I would totally gig without a backup. From hardware to finish to setup - this thing is golden. Get straplocks so you don't drop it - dummy.

Customer Support : 10
I shot these people thousands of questions before I bought it, and they replied really fast - sometimes in minutes. They rule.

I've been playing for 7 years, and this is my first Les Paul (even though it's a copy). I also have an Explorer copy that I built from Warmoth, and one of Lynn Ellsworth's early telecaster projects. I love the setup and the look of it - it's beautiful - and it's really solid - everything's pretty great except for the pickups - which aren't COMPLETELY awful. Either way, it beats the crap out of the Epiphone LP's I've played. If someone stole it, I would rain pure Louisville Slugger judgment on their skull - then buy a new one. For $339 this is a great deal.
