It's a pretty straightforward acoustic, the specs are already mentioned. It's a nice guitar without any electronics in it, doesn't have any bells and whistles. It came with an allenwrench but the guy in the store gave me a strap to go with it for free. I also purchased a hardcase to protect it. Getting a sturdy case is very important when buying acoustics in contrary to my strat which is virtually indestructible.

I tried out all the acoustics I could afford in the store and I ended up with this one. It has a nice tone, trebly but with nice bottom end. Kind of sparkling sound to it. Considering its price, the sound is remarkable.

I don't know if the guys in the store had done the setup of the guitar or if it was "straight factory". It plays really good, all notes come out great without much effort. It's very easy to play. The finish is acceptable, the guitar sounds better than it looks and that's what matter to me.

It gives a pretty solid impression, I don't think it will fail me. I probably won't gig with with this guitar, for gigs I use my strat. Since I got a hardcase for it, transports are not an issue when it comes to durability. Paintjob looks good, probably some kind of plastic finish like most asian guitars.

This is a Tacoma designed, Korean made dreadnought. The top is solid spruce, the sides are solid rosewood and the back is mahogany witha rosewood veneer. The bridge and fingerboard are rosewood. The neck is mahagony and the headstock has a rosewood overlay. It has a beautiful abalone rosette. The tuners are basic and no frills, but work well.

The sound of this guitar is very balanced. I tried quite a few acoustics with pricetags ranging from 250 to 800 and this had the best sound of any. Compared to other dreadnoughts the volume is average and the tone quality is bright. I'm using Thomastik-Infeld Spectrums right now and they sound absolutely beautiful on this guitar.

The action was fine when I bought it. The set-up for Olympias is done by Tacoma. The guitar is very well made. The finish is nearly flawless. The only problem is a few drops of glue on the very last fret which I could remove if I wanted. I replaced the stock saddle with a Tusq saddle. I also replaced the bridgepins. Replacing both has helped the sustain. I had no problems with buzzing or intonation.

This guitar is as well made as any I've seen or played. I have no doubt that it will outlast me. Granted you can't bang it around, but with proper care it will last as long as any other acoustic.

Overall, I am extremely happy with this guitar. It's a great value. I would definitely buy it again. This guitar has beautiful sound and looks great. If you're looking for a mid-range acoustic give the OD18 a listen. You'll be amazed at what 329 bucks can buy.
