No idea of the year and origin, id say mid-late 90s probably either china or korea. 22 fret a couple uneven unfortunately so there are slight problems with intonations etc. two volume two tone controls with the standard three way switch through two humbuckers (also unknown). Brown sun-burst colour, gold plated hardware. Small scaled neck with rosewood??? fretboard. With special "Outta-tuno" tuners (crappy. everything basically copied.

Sound, not too good. Although i was suprised with the distortion tone, but thats coming from a guy whos never had a guitar with humbuckers. There were wiring problems but, with the pickups itself and the input, but i expected that from a second hand guitar.

Action is nice, although inconsistent. The reason why i bought this guitar is cause i like the feel of the 335 body. Really crappy tuners, went outta tune easily with high bends.
Reliability/Durability

It would withstand live performances, but thats after renovations to the wiring, pickups, tuners etc. Strap buttons seem small but adequate. I wouldnt use it w/o a backup though

been playing 11 years, i have a strat, and a danoelectro dc through vs65 marshall. If it were stolen, id definitely get another 335 copy, maybe an epiphone dot if i can afford it. My main aim of buying this guitar was to reconfigure the whole thing, so im not too disappointed about the guitar. It seems cheaper to buy the boy and put new pickups and tuners than to buy a new factory 335 thats more expensive with only stock pickups. I really wanted to add a 335 shaped guitar to my collection cause of don felder from the eagles in "i cant tell you why?", and cuz i was looking for a hollow bodied electrical (for jazz) and a guiatr with humbuckers.
