This OM sized guitar was made in 1965. It is a "special build" or "Custom Shop" guitar but I have been told by the original owner (family member celeb musician) that the woods and bindings are almost ident to the OTC model with the exception being some fancy pearl inlays around the soundhole and on the fretboard.
Price NA it was one of many guits handed down to me by a relative.
Top Solid Maple
Sides and Back Solid Rosewood
Bracing A mix of Ladder and standard X with an additional bracing seam running the length of the body of the guitar made of cedar.
Tuners are standard Klusen types.
Finish is gloss.
Adjustable bridge/saddle.
4 way binding very nice looking but materials are unkown.

I have several of both new(ish) and "vintage" guitars in most body sizes/styles (000 - om -dread -?)and would say that this guitar has the same robust useable sound as my martin larivee ventura blueridge (a stuipidly under valued guitar).
I am using custom lights (pb)on it and the sound is great. I have used a set of MLs and the bass came through more so it depends on your preference but the guitar itself sounds exceptional.

I received as it was set up from the factory for the most part and that was acceptable. I used the adjustable bridge/saddle to lower the action and it is now perfect for my style of play.
Well built guitar everything straight and of very good quality.

I have used this guitar in the studio on one track and it gives an interesting sound. Everyone who has heard it loves it.
I have used this live two times and it stands up great.
I would never use any guitar without a backup but thats just me.

23 years playing.
Long list of guitars owned now and over that time period.
People tend to buy guitars with thier eyes and not thier ears and hands which is a shame for them but a real treat for the rest of us. Allot of great guitars are offered for small money simply because they don't have Martin, Gibson etc on the headstock (which matters less now than it did 30 years ago).
This guitar would get overlooked by most mucisians but each person I know who has played this or even one of my Ventura's all either buy one of their own, want one or borrow mine.
Great little axe if you can find one.
