AA Solid Spruce Top with fancy hardwood inlays around sound holes nicely done, not raised above the top like the Celebrity Deluxe's. This is a big step up from the Celebrity series. Has the flat back for much easier to hold on to. V shaped neck is slim and a dream to play . I removed two shims from under the saddle and it now measures .085 above the 12th fret so it plays like a low electric ........ very very nice . Components made in Korea then shiped to Conn for assembly and set up and it shows!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sound is great and like all Ovations it tends to favor the highs and is certainly not a bassie as a D28 Martin on the low E but has great balance and overall sweet sound. Plug it in and its all over, nothing sounds as good period............
Action, Fit, & Finish

Mine is a georgous Ruby Burst finish that is stunning to look at.Fit and finish on this one is flawless. Action super low with no buzz, high quality AA top , perfect neck and factory set up great.
Reliability/Durability

This is a Rock Solid guitar and would stand up with a Martin D45 for longevity...........

I have been playing for 25 years and play mostly Country Style and some Bluegrass. I picked this over a Guild GAD50 because of its features.
