I no longer own this guitar, but this was a stock Parker fly Delux except for the hardtail. I had to custom order it that way because I couldn't find one in any retail stores.

I play progressive melodic death metal, and this guitar was not quite beefy enough for my needs. The piezos were great sounding, but I hardle used them. The biggest problem was the pickups. I ordered this guitar under the false pretense that I could replace them with EMG's, but I quickly found out that it is impossible to do that. The pickups are hotter than the ones in my Ibanez Jem, but cooler than my stock Jackson soloist pickups. They were not very beefy, but had good articulation and medium gain.

The finish was beautiful and flawless, and the action was among the best that I have ever played.

This was one of the reasons that I got rid of the guitar...I just felt like I would break it in half. My main guitar now is a Steinberger, and the Parker just felt like a toy going between them. (It also paled in comparison to the Stienberger's tone for what I do.) The hardware was great though, and I saw no problems in the time that I owned it.

Great. They got the guitar out to me quickly, sent requested literature out promptly and answered my service calls.

I loved the playability, but hated the tone and flimsy feel. It is an incredible guitar that just did not suit me. The fixed bridge definately added to the low end, but not enough for me.
