2001 model Maple Classic, the usual Parker Features, for those who dont know what a maple classic is, its simply a supreme but less figured, a reject supreme if you will.. mine is trans red over a solid flamed maple body, which is probably a low AA, while the supreme is probably a strong AAA. It is still beautiful and retains the sound that only maple will give. You must understand that all usa parkers (not inc. niteflys) are the same ,but with a adifferent wood used for the body, and you might think it weird for the big price gaps, but its worth it, because ken parker knows how to get the tone out of the wood, where as other manufacturers use diff. woods, but dont get as much uniqueness to their guitars. Parkers are also the best wood..if you know parkers, you know what i mean,.if you dont know parkers, i dont know whats wrong with you.

Sound : 10
Well i have 4 parkers now, a deluxe, and aritst, a prototype newer hardtail (only one made, hehehe), and this maple classic. They all have the basswood necks, and same pickups, but they all sound WAY different due to the different body woods. The maple is very crisp, i find on the bridge position, i have to turn my treble down, and on the neck position, it sounds amazing. It sounds huge, and is light, and thin, and vibrant like all parkers, sounds great on the acoustic pickup, clean electric, split to two amps, and on all gain stages. The only thing id say i would change about the sound, is a pickup in the bridge with more bass, or fatness to it, because the maple is so crisp sounding, however, i cant really complain, it sounds amazing

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
it was set up good for most people, i of course lowered the action, the pickups were adjusted perfectly, the tension on the bridge was just how i like my parkers.. there are no flaws. Parker makes flawless guitars, and im not just saying that, Ken Parker is a genius, and he has thought up ways to overcome every flaw or imperfection that other makers either ignore, or accept. Ken Parker is truly amazing. you will never get a bad parker, unlike PRS, where one can rule, and one can suck. every parker is truly amazing, and if for some ungodly reason it wasnt, im sure ken and the guys at parker would help you out, ken is an extremely nice guy, as i have met and talked to him for a good amount of time, and hes great.

Reliability/Durability : 10
now heres the thing people. you might think a light, thin parker is easier to break, or is easy to bang up... that isnt the case, the carbon glass material is down the whole neck and on the entire back of the body, this material is thinner then paper, and 10 times stronger then the wood itself.. in other words, parkers never warp.. the truss rod is only there for when you change string gauges. and thanks to the stainless steel frets, say goodbye to refrets, dead frets, and other fret problems. i install dimarzio strap locks on everything. Here is an example of a parkers toughness. One night in my band room, before my deluxe had strap locks, it fell off when i was walking, and fell about 5 feet in to a heavy duty metal fan.. you can imagine what i felt at that moment. I picked it up.. thinking of a huge chunk of wood out of the neck, and serious fretboard damage, and there wasnt a scratch. I play a Parker live, and i always have another one for back up, but i never ever need it :0)

Customer Support : 10
i have never had a problem, and i doubt i ever would.. and if i did, i have met drew hannah, and ken parker, and they are great guys.. many companies claim to care about their players, but parker REALLY does, and they dont even claim to, but they do.. its truly a magical corporation. dont worry about a thing when you buy a parker..your money is well spent

Overall Rating : 10
ive played for 3 years, however id like to think for my time, i am quite good, i play neo-classical shred, blues, many kinds of metal and rock, lots of sweeping in my style, lots of maiden influence, lots of yngwie influence, lots of paul gilbert, brian may, zakk wylde, steve vai, etc. influence. I have played and owned many guitars, every main brand you can think of, and many smaller ones, and parker are by far the best guitars available today. if you dont have one, you are truly uninformed, stubborn, or just flat out stupid.
