Made in 1999, 24 fret with two humbuckers and a Fishman Powerbridge. Three way pick-up selector and a three way rotary switch which selects either: humbuker, single coil or special kind of humbucker. Pickups are Semour Duncan 1 Alnico and a custom custom. And sperzel locking machine heads.

Quite toppy although its ment to have loads of sounds, apparently to sound like any guitar, some amp fideling is needed for really low les paul sound. I use a big muff through a messa boogie sometimes with even the amp distorted so with that many things to go through the pure signal is changed anyway, it can be dificult to go from a raging distortion to a rich full clean without pressing a distorion off and changing pickup selector and in a dark pub whilst your singing can be a challenge. The clean sounds are amazing and you can understand the prise for these alone. The Fishman bridge could be good in the studio but its a bit of a pain live as you've got 10s on usually so the fishman sounds really tiny as you have no eq on it. Its versitile but more of a clean cut nice distortion leaning more towards straty sounds however with a good amp it can sound like anything. In the studio an great tool 3 or 4 guitars in one. Although I havent raved about the fishman bridge, however they will fit it for free on a Legend. I would like a variable eq nob like that found on strats and les pauls just for extra versitility although im sure the pure of heart out there will claim this looses sound quality. Overall great

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Beatifull. Lokks stuning they will make it lokk like anything you want. Set up was spot on, a smallish factory with a very personal feel. I even chose what pecie of wood I wanted and decided to have the back of the neck lacered and the front silk finished.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Ive had it almost two years and for a brand new guitar held very few problems infact only one, the wire atatched to the jack plug frayed I fixed it in 10 minutes and considering what I put it through in a gig that good. However it is not the most robust looking of all guitars

Customer Support : 10
Very friendly and helpfull spent an entire day selecting what I wanted im not sure on how helpfull they will be on warrenty as it hassent been back. I think its under lifetime warranty from faults that are unatural.

I own A Messa Boogie Nomad 55 Combo and a 1981 Marshall 4, 12, 800 sieries converted from a bass 4, 10, so it has a deeper cab. I have been playing for 8 years classical at first then to electric I have been giiging for 5 years and my band is managed by Paul Wellers sister. If it got stolen I would probally buy something else to save some money as the kind of stuff I play doesn't really require such a beautiful sounding guitar, then again I might cause it looks great although it looks very crisp and clean it can also look quite worn and its definatelly individual. Great to play, and better than a Paul Reed Smith and that comes from people I know who have got both (looky Bastards)
