Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro HT

Manufactured in England, the Berlin Pro HT features Seymore Duncon Pickup with 3-way toggle for "Strat and Telecaster" sounds as well as "Les Paul" sounds too.
There is no tone control, just one knob to adjust the volume.
The neck has 24 frets and Sperzel locking tuners.
The finish is a very beautiful Amber Burst.
Most important to me is the Stop Tailpiece, which is the defining trait of the HT modell unlike the V modell, that is offered with a Wikinson Locking Trem.

In nearly every setting the Berlin Pro sounds great. The sound of Rock music like Gun's and Roses is matched as well as Hendrix and Fusion.

I purchased the guitar brand new per auction and I had to do the whole setup by myself, because the guitar was delivered without strings.
Setup was very easy, the guitar feels great, stays in tune, is easy to play, the Berlin Pro HT is a very good and very valuable instrument.

It's a very good instrument, and I'am sure, that today Patrick Eggle today match the quality standard they became reputed for in the early 90's.
Whoever is in charge for quality at Patrick Eggle at present, does a good job, these people manufacture great instruments.

Every E Mail I wrote was answered in no time. I asked them, if I could sent my Berlin Pro V with Wilkinson Trem from 1999 to overhaul the guitar and even that is no problem and the price is reasonable.
The guitar is on it's way to Birmingham right now, and I'am sure I will get it back in great shape.

I would by it again and recommend this guitar to everybody. The sustain and playability is much better than with the Berlin Pro V modell with the Wilkinson Trem, that always caused nothing but grief, because after the first switch of strings it never worked properly again.
So the Berlin Pro HT with Stop Tailpiece is a gem - try it!
