Out of the factory the action was a little high but guitars are made to fit the owners! The pickups were setup great! The finish on this guitar is the best I've ever seen. Everytime I pull this guitar out of the case musicians and non musicians thinks that this guitar is a work of art.

I've been playing for more than twenty yrs, I also own a Gibson ES335, Fender Strat,Yamaha AES 1500,Martin,Ibenez. If this guitar was ever stolen I would cry first and then buy another one. I tried to go back to my Strat but I always have reach back for my PRS. This guitar works well with every amp! and will cut thru anything! I play with a very large band and when it's time for me to stand out the PRS takes it's place in the building. Thank you PRS

2003 Custom 22 with the Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel gold hardware, dragon II pickups, 5 way rotary pickup selector, hard tail bridge, flame maple 10 top, blue matteo finish. It comes with the Brazilian logo inlayed in the head stock, backplate personally signed and numbered by Paul himself, rose abalone bird inlays and hard shell case.

This guitar is by far the best sounding instrument that I have ever played. It can create almost any sound that you could possibly imagine. I play almost every kind of music except for country and it sounds great playing anything. I mostly play mainstream rock and roll, stuff like Hoobastank, Eve 6, Yellowcard, Blink, simple plan, good charlotte, Velvet Revolver and things like that. I could not be happier with the sound that I get out of this guitar. The tone knob is incredibly precise and can dial in any sound you want. The 5 way selector with it's split coil option truns this into a strat, les paul, hollowbody and acoustic all in one. This guitar has no equal.

If you thought that PRS's play well then you will be amazed that they were able to make something above their normal level. The brazilian neck is so smooth and slick that your fingers simply flow over the frets. It was set up to exacting standards from the factory with 9's, though I wish that it came with 10's. No fret buzz, nothing but unbelievable sustain and butter action. The finish of the 10 top is amazing. Perfect grain in the flame maple and the blue matteo is just amazing. The music store cringed to see it go it was so beautiful. One of the best looking guitars I've ever seen.

The people at the factory are great to deal with. Very knowledgable and personable. Though I wish that the warrentee on the electronics lasted longer than 2 years.

I don't think that there is a better sounding, looking or playing guitar on the market. I've been playing for 6 years using a epiphone les paul that i customized with pickup upgrades and many hours setting it up to my precise standards. I have played many gibson's and even pros have told me my epi plays and sounds better than most gibson's worth 5 times more. If you are looking for a PRS's, do yourself a favor and try out the Brazilian Limited. The brazilian rosewood makes this guitar stand out from anything that PRS has ever made before. It's limited production of 500 per model per year will make this a colectors piece for sure. It can be pricy though. I got mine on sale but most other stores are selling them for over 3000. If you can find one for under 3000, write them a check and you won't be dissapointed.

this guitar sounds amazing. the 5 way pickup selector gives amazing versatitly, and each tone sounds great. the second and the fourth positions sounded bright, giving a interesting funky tone, with the tone maxed and volume knop at 8...it allmost sounded like a eletric acustic.
the first mode had alot of tone, and the 5th had alot of power for lead rock ext.
running the 2cnd and 4th pickup into a jcm2000 dsl100 head and 1960v cab gave amazing tones. very stratish and funky. the trem complimented this excelently.
running into a wide aray of pedals also proved the guitar excellent.
it sounded great through a phase 90, a boss flanger, and a vox wah.
im not a distortion freak, playing mostly clean, so i would not be able to comment on the guitar running through distortion.
the factory set up was brilliant. the strings played and bended extreamly easily. the playability easily surpased a sg supreme and by far a amercan 52 reisue telecaster. (both of which i own hence can compare to).
i am in LOVE with this guitar. it looks like a private stock guitar but cost 1/4th the price. playing it is a joy and listing to it is evan better.

it was factory set perfectly. the action is without a doubt genious. the pickups were set well. chrome covered pickups would have possibly looked better but the exposed coils give the guitar a very nice tone. the brazilian rosewood headstock and fingerboard look amazing...very much personality and character.
the only flaw related to the guitars performance is the shaky knobs. they feel allitle loose, mainly the 5 way rotary. (as a side note, it gives off a slight static sound while switching between pickups, alittle more aparent then usual.)
the nut is great, as well as the frets. the wood is amazing, though ive seen nicer brazilian rosewood truss rod covers then the one that came on this guitar.

as stated, the pickup rotary is alittle shakey, which may turn into a problem in the future. I WOULD NOT GIG WITH THIS GUITAR. its price leaves no room for damage or theft.
it sounds great direct, as i use it for recording di as well as mic'd amp.
note - this guitar is signed by prs. he signed it in the worst place possible - the backplate. i may replace the backplate because the signature seems that it will wear off with use.
the strap buttons are solid and hold to the strap better then most.

i had been waiting on a blue quilt top prs for some time and this was the first availible to my specs (24 fret trem with birds). though i paid more than i had anticipated (originaly i wanted only a custom 24) it turned to be worth the extra money. the sales person i had been working through was very knowledgeable with prs and directly dealt with them for my needs.

This guitar was made in The United States of America. It is made of wood. It has two humbuckers. It is brown. It came with a case. These are all the features I need.

Well, it sounds ok, I mean it's not like you're playing a '58 Les Paul, but it's good enough for my type of music (grindcore/power violence) I use it with a Soldano head and Marshall cabinets, and it has lots of sustain and good harmonics.

I bought it used, so I can't really say. The person who sold it to me liked high action, but I lowered it. The finish is flawless. The bookmatched top looked really nice until I carved pictures in the wood to make it look neato.

I've been playing guitar for eight years. I started off in jazz and classical acoustic stuff, but then when I started to play grindcore I found that my acoustic didn't sound right for that so that's when I bought this guitar. It sounds pretty good and I like the way it doesn't go out of tune.
