Love the solid indian rosewood neck and fretboard.

Sound : 10
Perfect for jazz, blues, rock, metal.

excellent clean sounds, strong mids and lots of snap on the tapped bridge, to nice cool and mellow in the neck pickup.
even better distorted tones, nice blues that makes you wanna cry, to blazing sustain for years and years and years and... total chunk if you tighten up, excellent chord definition even with the gain at 10.

nothing bad to say here, its the best geetar i gots.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
factory action and intonation as well as the truss setup was a little off. no worries, im sure the overseas shipment was to blame, just followed the setup guide on prsguitars.com and was flying along the fretboard.

one major backup, the hfs treble pickup was self tapping from time to time, meaning it had a bad connection at the wind. called shawn at prs, (yes i spoke to a real preson concerning a purchase i made!!!!) and he sent me out a new one right away. no problemo.

Reliability/Durability : 10
every time i pick this thing up, its perfectly in tune, either its a great guitar with a very solid neck, or my cat learned how to tune a guitar.

i would be 4% sceptical about playing this thing live, but hey, i gotta show it off.

prs's finishes are the best in their class, so this thing should last a few lifetime, my son better not sell it off after im gone ill tell you that.

i would gig without a backup if i really had to, i wouldnt worry about some sudden breakdown, but i would probably bring another one of my prs's just to show it off.

Customer Support : 10
as i said, i had a defective pickup, i called, and before you know it, bobs your uncle and i got a new one. i love the fact that you can call a major coporation and get a human on the phone.

Overall Rating : 10
been playing 23 years, have had piles and piles of gear, forgotten about most of it. this is the best of the best.

if it were stolen i would find the guy that took it and nueter him. see how he likes it. then i would buy another one because i need another one. (sorry hunny)
