Peavey HP Special EX

well... im not a guitar player. not at all. im a music producer, and even when i know something about guitars its very difficult for me play one reef corectly. but... I becouse Im producer, and Im trying all the time get best sound as possible. I know that Im can not be a good player. this guitar... man.. i saw her, and i was in love. when Im heard her, jaw was down.
Ive try a few guitars. but for this price, maybe even 2x more... NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! everything what is on it its so nice. licensed floyd rose: one of the best i ever seen; zebra pickups can be louder, but they got beautyfull tone, neck as i like: matt; finish is very nice (i got black one; knobs work well and adjusting of everything is briliant, ....
when i was about to buy a new gutar i wanted somethin hard and heavy, with EMGs, but this beauty kick me to the bolocks guys... I can not be objective, I know and Im sorry... but i just love it

For this money: briliantly set up guitar, good pickups, floydrosse, ... everything like from jackson or esp but for 2x higher price
If u r in to experiments or clacic rock, doesnt matter. u can not play Slipknot on this (I've tryed. emgs 85 r just different) and doesnt work well, i dont wanna say that u cannot get out a brutal sound, u can, o man u can, but that character is just much more warm... sorry sound

and here we are. it was first time that i heard guitar first on the amp and not unpluged. jaw-droping on clean

tone is so warm, beautyfull and clearwith lots of bottom, its just got a big body. pickups are not like u would wxpecting on this price range: same. they are NOT! neck is so different, even if im not guitarist... this is just unbelievable. this guitar realy sounds lik Les and strat together. Im not saying that u will got sound exactly like one of thouse, but in the mix I dont think so that u can spot any differencies. and that what this guitar for me is. its hard worker with atitude and big style. I saw something like this only on Godins or PSRs.
Gain to right, distorsion, ........ WOW!!!!!!!!!! what the ****?!?!?! There is everything u can imagin. Im not usin AMP. Im going through GTR3 from waves (best guitar and bass plugin i ve ever seen, usin even for vocals sometimes). maaaaaaaaaaaaaan.... if u do what i do, I mean lots of short agresive reefs, u cannot go wrong. this is a beef. to be honnest i got no clu how should work with amps, but for what i need its amazing. lot of bottom, mids r not screaming, highs r heaven. output can be louder, thats true, but: we talking here about guitar for 200.-??. 85 cost 70.-. if u want... I dont. To be honest I like to have something different (even when i still want to buy something with 85, cos for some 'aplications' u just got no other choise, if u have please tell me: robertheks@gmail.com ).
take my rating for this price range and 2x more, cos its immpossible to say that this guitar is better than PRS for 3000............

third time i have to say that Im not a guitar player. but becouse of that i thing that u should understand how big supprice for me meet this girl was. u know that feeling when u take a good piece and its playing by its self, do ya. well. thi is it. Im rubsh! but i was supprice what everything i can play.... I dont know how guitar should be setup. Got no idea what is realy important for player. i had few guitars before, played on lots of guitars in a past, but only one reminds me this feelings, and that was godin freeway. that feeling that she is part of u and u know each other for agies...
Floyd working great even with a very hard hands ( i now what about im talking about here.))
dont know what more, it was setuped briliantly (i brogh that from digital village at high barnet in london), no problems with anything. its got BIG playability and in mix sounds so nice, and she can find a space anywhere there... is that really only 10 as max?

its seems to build as germans tank. as i wrote, its a hardworker. with everythig. Would you use it on a gig without a backup? YES!!! just better strings, thats it

I can say something only about a shop... they gave me: stand, cable, strap, polish liquid, string-cleaner, a proper gigbag by Gigbag... thank u digital village. I dont thing so that i can expect any problems

as isad, for this price even more for this price, i have never seen or played something better. well done peavey, u got my big respect. luv ya gus

Essentially an imported Wolfgang Special flat top. HSH with a Floyd Rose. Volume and tone.

The pick ups are only ok. It's probably the weakest part of the guitar. Medium output.

This is where this guitar shines. With minor adjustments to the action and the Floyd Rose this guitar has absolutely killer value for the price. Everything is well constructed and tight. A very good quality guitar for a Chinese import!

Can't imagine any issues in the future other than common maintenance.
